Abortion Is Wrong
It’s never fair for someone to suffer from another’s lack of responsibility for their own actions. Many circumstances can apply to such a statement, and abortion is not limited to that. Abortion is murder, it violates the civil rights of an unborn child, not only that, it is a violation of God’s plan for others. Some babies die by chance, although none should ever die by choice. Abortion. The deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. Murder. The deliberate taking of a human’s life. These two words have completely different definitions, although the term “abortion,” means the same thing as the term, “murder.” What the definition of abortion fails to convey, is that not only is abortion the termination of a pregnancy, it is also the termination …show more content…
Every life has a purpose because God has a plan for everyone. The moment someone is murdered, it interrupts God’s plan. For example, there was a woman who got pregnant at the age of sixteen. She finally made a choice as to what to do with her child, she put it up for adoption. This child grew up and eventually met his best friend. This child was the cause for his best friend’s marriage, as he got them together, and if he never did that, his best friend’s two children would never have been born. If this child’s mother aborted him, his best friend and his wife, wouldn’t have met, fell in love, and started a family, making them extremely happy. This is one case, of the impact of a life. So, each time an unborn child is aborted, someone’s life path has been interrupted. Someone may have committed suicide because the friend that was supposed to be there to stop them was dead before birth. A whole country failed economically because their leader who had the perfect solution wasn’t alive to help them. Each human life has a purpose, so why prevent them from fulfilling their purpose by aborting them? In conclusion, the moment an egg meets a sperm, it’s a human. So, the act of abortion is indeed murder, because it is taking a human’s life. Abortion violates the unborn child’s right to live the moment the act is performed. Most importantly, abortion deprives God’s plan for us as every life has a purpose. To reiterate, some babies die by chance, none should ever die by

The debate over whether abortion should be legal and to what point in the pregnancy it should be allowed has polarized many societies. Many religious preach that at the moment of conception, the new life is human and possesses a soul. Therefore, abortion is murder. Other, less extreme views, suggest the life is not human until there is a recognizable "completion of form." A third view proposes we have an obligation to create a good life for all children already born before we bring more unwanted children into the world.…

Abortion goes against any idea of the sanctity of human ways. It ends up taking away an innocent child’s life; someone that never got the chance to experience the beautiful ways of the world. No civilized society permits one human to intentionally harm or take the life of another human without punishment, and abortion is no different.…

Abortion is the killing of an unborn child, or in other words, murder. The unborn child is in fact a living human being. Although some may disagree that the baby is living while in the womb, it can be proven scientifically otherwise. Erick Eckholm in the New York Times online quoted Dr. Eric Webb, an obstetrician, who said, “With the union of the egg and sperm, that is life, and genetically human.” It is human at the moment of egg and sperm coming together. Rob Schwarzwalder similarly explained in his online article on Family Research Council, “The zygote is composed of human DNA and other human molecules, so its nature is undeniably human and not some other species. . . It is also quite clear to us that the earliest human embryo is biologically alive. It fulfills the four criteria needed to establish biological life: metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction.” He makes the argument very clear that when the sperm and egg fuse together, a new entity that is distinctly human becomes alive and an individual. He also discusses that the new human zygote has a genetic composition that is different from any other human, including the mother (Schwarzwalder). All of these facts contribute to the fact that this baby is not just an extension of the mother’s body alone, but it is a new and unique human being. Mary Balch bluntly states in her article online for USA Today, “The fetus, in many cases, dies just as a human adult or child would: It bleeds to death as it is torn limb from limb.” When you decide to abort, you are technically killing an irreplaceable living person.…

Abortion is the intended termination of a human pregnancy, many think that it is morally wrong in all cases, but can it be considered as morally permissible? Thou shall not kill, but what is really considered murder? Who draws the line on which murder should be permissible and which should not? You might want to get rid of bugs that may appear in your house and you squash them, which is not morally wrong but killing another human being with a cruel intent to harm them would be considered morally wrong?…

If you don't know already, there are basically these two perspectives on abortion. The first is that abortion is the murder of an unborn child. The second is that abortion is the disposing of a cluster of cells before it becomes an inconvenience. Think about that second definition, and realize how appalling it is to describe a developing human as a cluster of cells. It is degrading the value of human life,…

The fetus’s potential of what it will be in the future (Lee 2015). Killing a fetus is killing an adult human being due to the potential of what it could be. According to this logic, killing an adult human being is wrong, therefore, it is wrong to kill a fetus. Killing an innocent person because their existence in the world would make the killer’s life miserable is homicide and can’t be justified (Lee 2015). A proposed way to look at it is, to kill our boss because he makes your life miserable and intolerable and you can’t find another job is not a justified reason to kill your boss(Lee 2015). In this example, your boss is the fetus and just because the fetus will make your life intolerable is not grounds for having an abortion (Lee 2015). To abort a fetus is the loss of that person’s future, specifically, all the value of that future. A fetus can be said to have a future and potential therefore, killing a fetus is wrong. It is just as bad as killing an adult human being which is illegal (Marquis 2014).…

If a baby was killed after birth it would be considered murder, but if a baby was killed inside of the fetus it would be considered the mother's choice. If a mother is killed while pregnant it is considered a double homicide.…

Life starts when two reproductive cells unite. It is false to say that life begins when a baby is born. If they aren’t alive, then why do women kill them? Babies start as a tiny embryo, and they grow and grow. They are born, then they keep growing into an infant, and then a child, and then eventually an adult. The only difference between the embryo in the womb, and the adult lots and lots of nutrition and say 20 years time. “Abortion (is) murder (because) the being inside the mother is living. The definition of something living includes the ability to grow, which is exactly what is going on inside a woman who is pregnant. An abortion ceases the growing process, therefore ending the future life of a human being. This little being may not start off with a heartbeat or brain activity, but cells are still dividing and allowing it to grow.” (Ross,…

Nearly 1.1 babies in the U.S are killed every year (Abortion Facts). Imagine the reason for this. Many people do not realize that the cause of this is abortion. According to American Heritage’s definition of abortion, an abortion is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy, usually before the embryo or fetus is capable of independent life. The Catholic Church has long held the view that abortion is not only immoral but also the deliberate killing of life at the moment of conception.…

Abortion is murder because it involves the intentional killing of an unborn human being. In a survey 53.8% say that abortions should be illegal for this reason or more. Someone surveyed said, “If you have an abortion, they should go to jail because it’s murder”. If you destroy something that is alive, then it's considered murder. No one can deny that it is a murder of the innocent. Medical studies show clearly that a fetus is conscious and is performing all six life processes. Murder is defined as the unlawful killing of one human being by another, especially with malice and forethought. Abortion is defined as induced termination of pregnancy before a fetus is capable of survival as an individual. The definitions alone state that a human being as being…

What makes me judge that abortion is murder? First of all, abortion is the "termination of pregnancy". Stopping the women's pregnancy means to destroy the embryo or the foetus. The problem with this argument is when do we call a foetus a person? From the religious perspective, a baby is already a person from the start of conception.…
