Abortion Is Bad
Do you consider something with a beating heart a living creature? A babies heart forms and starts beating in the fifth week of pregnancy, therefor, that would make abortion murder. The baby that is growing inside of you is depending on you, so when you make the choice to end that life, you are making the choice to murder another person.

Someone that believes in the pro-choice theory would say that the decision is up to the woman, but the person with the pro-life theory would say that it is murder no matter what the situation. Would you consider it murder to kill a baby the day after it is born? Then why would it not be murder to kill it before it is born? "If it is impossible to abort a baby in the ninth month, then what makes it ok to do in the fifth or sixth month." (Carl Sagan & Ann Druyan).

Many abortions are perormed each year in the United States. 75% of all abortions in the U.S. are performed on women over 20 years of age, but the lawmakers try to concentrate on the 186,000 teens that have an abortion each year. In 1990, there were nearly 400 abortion bills were introduced to 41 legislatures. So far, as many as 20 states have passed laws that requires a teenager to have a parents consent before having an abortion. This may help reduce the number of abortions each year, the people that passed these bills feel that maybe the parents will feel differently about the situation and be able to talk their child out of it. 20% of teens that are sexually active do not use any form of birth control, these are the teens that end up getting pregnant and getting an abortion. If these girls would use some kind of contraceptive it could stop a lot of the abortions performed each year. If you think about it, it is so much easier to take a pill then it is to be pregnant and have to decide on the life of another person. When you feel that you are responsible enough to participate in sexual activity, you should also feel that you a resonsible enough to deal with the

A baby heart forms and starts beating in the fifth week of pregnancy; therefore, that would make abortion murder. The baby that is growing inside of the woman is depending on her, so when she makes the choice to end that baby's life, they are making the choice to murder another person. The federal Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which was enacted "to protect unborn children from assault and murder," states that under federal law, anybody intentionally killing or attempting to kill an unborn child should "be punished for purposely killing or making an effort to kill a human being.” Abortion is immoral because it is the intentional killing of a human being. It is a well-known fact that life begins at the moment of conception. When we perform an abortion, we take the life of an innocent child. We deny the unborn child it’s right to live and experience the world. No one has the right to take the life of another person, even an unborn child. Abortion is murder because life begins at conception. All things that grow are living. Just because the living, growing fetus is not visible, does not mean that it is not a…

Women of all age groups have unwanted pregnancies, but “A sexually active teen who doesn’t use contraceptives has a 90 percent chance of becoming pregnant within a year.” (11 facts about teens). CNN states that “Among women aged 19 years and younger, more than 4 out of 5 pregnancies were unintended.” Stayteen.org states “3 in 10 ten girls in the U.S will get pregnant at least once before age 20. That’s about 750,000 teen pregnancies every year. Eight of the ten people I asked know at least one or more persons who became pregnant before reaching the age of 20. While abstinence is the only 100% prevention for pregnancy, most teens will have sex before they even reach the age of 20. (guttmatcher.com). If birth control became easily accessible and affordable it is projected that more women would use it, resulting in less unplanned pregnancies. (plannedparenthood.org). This would have a far reaching, positive impact, including the future of the potential mother.…

Abortion can be considered as murder, as the baby has a heartbeat and is a living creature. “At conception, we have a human organism, a human being. We do not have a baboon organism or a chimpanzee organism or an elephant organism” (Pasquini 5). This is killing an innocent living human without it having committed any crime. The idea of legalizing a process in which a baby has to pay for the mother’s mistake or be punished for simply being alive is one that is hard to fit into the mind of many. The baby shouldn’t be the one to be blamed for irresponsibility. Normally when a human life is taken from them, severe punishment is enforced and the result can even be death of the person who committed the murder. Abortion should be no different because the baby is as much as a human as anyone else on…

Life begins the moment the sperm enters an egg. Landrum B. Shettles who has his Ph.D. in biology said, “The zygote is human life….there is one fact that no one can deny; Human beings begin at conception.” Murder is defined as the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another. From this example, it should be clear that abortion should be classified as murder because you are making the choice to kill a life inside you. All in all, abortion should be illegal because it is…

There’s a lot of speculation going on right now about whether or not abortion is ethical. Many people believe that there should be laws against it, that it should be banned entirely. Thousands spend time protesting abortion, stating that it is a sin, and that it is the same as murdering a child. However, the majority of those who claim these things don’t have their facts quite right.…

Those against abortion argue that a fetus is very much alive like us and has the capacity to evolve into a complete human being. So killing a fetus is just like killing a human being, which is completely wrong. In response to this sensitive question, pro-choice people come up with their own logical argument. As per the supporters of abortion, there is no fixed definition of "human being" in the womb. Just because a group of living cells exist in the womb, it is not right to call it a "human being". If killing a fetus is wrong, then amputating a hand or a leg in case of accident must also amount to murder. Further, proponents of abortion believe the embryo in a womb must only be considered to be a human after it has reached a certain stage of development. So generally embryos start showing signs of heartbeat development in at least 21 days of conception. Hence, if killed before, it won't amount to killing a life. This argument is further said to be misleading by anti-abortion groups because according to them, if a cell has life, it will experience pain if killed. It is wrong to cause pain and trauma to a potential…

Pro-choice is when the person believes that no matter what, a woman has the right to choose whether or not she wants to give birth to the child that she as conceived. Most people who are pro-choice believe that the fetus is not a human but a mass of tissue. (http://www.abortionfacts.com/life _or_choice/pro_choice.asp) Lots of times women use abortion as a form or birth control. They get abortions because they had unprotected sex and have gotten pregnant and decided that they weren 't ready to be a mother. But, if they believe in pro-choice the women has the right to choose whether or not she is ready to be a mother. They believe that ever child should be a wanted child. (http://www.abortionfacts.com/life or_choice/pro_choice.asp) Every child is wanted, the biological mother might not want them, but there are people out there who can not have children and they could want that child. Abortion is murder. The embryo is a person from the moment of conception. According to Shettles, "Scientists identify the first moment of human life as that instant when a sperm cell unites with an ovum or egg cell" (18). Most pro-choice supporters do not believe the fetus is a person until the first or second trimester. Pro-choice people do not think abortion is murder because they consider the aborted fetus a mass or cells or tissue (Shettles 20). Abortion is the taking of innocent human life, which is wrong under virtually any circumstances. An unborn baby is more than potential life. An unborn baby is meaningful human life that should not be considered expendable. After conception, no event occurs in the development of the fetus that indicates a change in the fetus from not being human to becoming one (Foster 33). Human life begins with conception. A middle-aged person, a teenager, and an unborn baby are all in stages of human life. Killing the unborn baby is no more justifiable than killing the two other people. Abortion is a practice that should be prohibited by law because it basically amounts to murder.…

    Abortion and Fetus

Pro-choice is what people who are supportive of abortions are called. They are not people who force abortions and enjoy terminating pregnancies of everyone. They simply support women having the choice of doing what they wish with their body. After all, 9 months is a long time to have something you don't want in your body, and not to mention, a lifetime of caring for the child comes with the package. Pro-life is what people who are supportive of banning abortions are called. They stand up for the right of the fetus and believe that it is an independent life. They support the banning/outlawing of abortions. As noble as it is to stand up for something helpless, they often disregard the right of the child bearer. They believe that a fetus is an independent being which is scientifically incorrect as a fetus is dependent of the bearer. There are also many arguments such as the fetus feels pain, the fetus can love, and many other scientifically incorrect "facts". So, when is it ok to abort a fetus? Who gets to make the choices? Should the government have any say in this issue? Let's get down to the details.…
