Abortion Argumentative Essay 2
“ I had to do what I had to do. He was beating me, because he had come home from the pub drunk and wanted to take his boredom out on his wife A.K.A his daily punch bag. Some days were worse than others. Now and again he would just scream in my face and give me a few slaps and punches, but about once or twice a week, I would get it really bad.
“Like one time, he was at the pub and I had gone to bed but at 3 in the morning. I was dragged out by my hair, thrown into the bathroom, and I got spat on and kicked in the face and also got urinated in the face by him, but he didn’t stop there, he then tied me up and made me watch him take a poo and started shoving my head down the toilet. He then turned on the shower and told me to wash myself because I was a dirty dog and needed cleaning.”
Jon then walked out of the room, and screamed, “Woman, you try anything funny and I’ll finish the job next time, you dog!”
I really wanted to go out there and kill him. But I knew that wouldn’t be satisfying enough, so I started to plan my revenge. At first, I thought I’d just call the police, but then I thought the revenge option sounded so much better. So I was thinking of what I could do, when it hit me. I had watched a film the day before, and the man started off cutting his victims toes, then fingers off, then legs, then arms and watched until they died. That was exactly what I was going to do. 5 years of beatings to 30 minutes of torture sounds about right. You may think I’m mad in the head, but I’m not, I’m just angry.
After I thought of my amazing idea, yesterday I slept on the sofa and woke up nice and early the next morning, and thought things through, like the date and time, where and items I’ll need for the procedure. So, it’s his birthday next week, and I’m going to say I’ve got a massive surprise present for him in the basement. I’ll blind fold him and say you can take it off now and smash him in the head with a hammer, so he is knocked out, then I tie him down to the

It wasn't enough to simply kill the man, he dismembered his entire body. On page 3 the story states, "First I cut off the head, then the arms and the legs. I was careful not to let a single drop of blood fall on the floor. I pulled up three of the floorboards that formed the floor, and put the pieces of the body there." He was not frantic nor hysterical he was calm, calm enough to meticulously sever his limbs.…

Abortion, a hot topic of debate for over two hundred years. So far it has created two major movements one of them being “Pro Choice” and the other “Pro Life”. “Pro Choice” fights for the right of women to have a choice between giving birth or aborting the baby in the earlier stages of its development. “Pro Life” on the other hand has a totally different view of the issue, they completely oppose the right for abortion implying that it is an unlawful murder of a human life.…

It’s amazing and it can create life. But, we, as humans, can take away that life. Humans can inhibit a person from moving forward. Humans can stop a person from feeling happiness or wholeness. And all because we, as humans, make abortion illegal. When abortion is illegal, it restricts a girl or woman from living the life she deserves. In the first chapter Fineman poses the question “Who is a person?”. The answer seems to be something so simple, yet it is very complex. The topic deals with humans rights given in the constitution. The question has always been prominent in our society because the founding fathers wrote a constitution the did not fit all Americans. The constitution was written for the white male. African Americans and women did not have these rights until later on in history. The question also is apparent in the abortion argument, Gary Bauer a prominent figure in the Pro-life movement fights to say unborn fetuses are people. It is hard to find a single definition for the word “abortion.” Dictionary.com states that an abortion is also called voluntary abortion and it is the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy. However, google states that an abortion is defined as the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first twenty-eight weeks of pregnancy. On the contrary, Merriam Webster defines an abortion as a medical procedure used to end a pregnancy and cause the death of the fetus. Just reading these definitions begin the argument of whether or not abortion should be legal and if it is “morally” right. Abortion has become a popular topic of discussion across politics and within churches. Although both sides have valid arguments, it is up to the woman carrying the child to decide whether she will keep the child or not. No government, nor religion should force someone into making a decision they weren’t fully supportive of.…

How would it be like if you weren’t allowed to choose what happens to your future? Some women do not get the luxury of choosing for themselves due to some laws set and they do not get the option whatsoever. That should be different as women are the ones who carry the babies, not the ones who are voting against it. Even though the baby never had the chance to live life, women should have the right to choose what they want to do with their baby because it may be bad for the women herself to have to care of a baby, they may not be prepared for a baby, and we do not know their circumstances of the situation.…
