Abortion

Abortion is the termination of pregnancy by the removal or expulsion from the uterus of a fetus or embryo prior to viability. An abortion can occur spontaneously, in which case it is usually called a miscarriage, or it can be purposely induced. The term abortion most commonly refers to the induced abortion of a human pregnancy.
There are two kinds of abortion. One is induced abortion and other is miscarriage or stillbirth.

Reason
There are many reasons for the women that they choose to abortion. For example : they want to delay the time of raising a child they cannot afford the money of raising a child
Pregnant women are too young to give birth to a baby The wishes of the parents

PRO

1. The life of the mother is harm by the baby
The health of the mother will be affected by the baby if the body of the mother is always weak. In this case when the mother is pregnant, the existence of the baby will let mother become weaker and even let her life become threaten and eventually died as the life of the mother has only one time. We can see from this this new: Woman dies after abortion request 'refused'. It is talking about that the baby was died and the mother wanted to have abortion to take it out of the body but the hospital refused to do so and eventually the woman died because of losing lots of blood. It proves that it need abortion in some situation. And in this case, if the doctor is willing to help, then the mother will be save and she can continue her life..

2. The raping
If a woman was raped and then found that she was pregnanted, then it is acceptable for her to have abortion. We think that no woman will want to give birth to that baby. It is because when the mother looks at the baby that she gave birth to, it will make her remember the raping that she has experienced before And the mother will even hate this child very much .Also, she will feel fear all the time. If you force the mother to give birth to the child, then it is hard for both the child and the mother as the mother do not want the child and even hate him, also the growth of the child will be tough. And after the birth of the baby, the only person that raise this baby is only the woman. Also, the woman do not want this baby because

3. The law of the country and the population problem
We can see that there is a law in China that people choose to have abortion indirectly. It is the ‘one-child policy ’. One-child policy is the population control policy. It’s aim is to restrict urban couples to give birth to one child in order to control the population of China. If the couples have more than one child, then they need to charge a large amount of money for the penalty. Since they cannot afford such money, they choose to have abortion. And there is a news said that a mother pregnant again and since China has the ‘one-child policy’ and the force of the government, the mother need to have abortion in order to avoid the payment of the penalty. Due to the policy in a country, abortion need to approve so as not to have the punishment. Also, there is some statistic showing that, there were an estimated 13 million abortions performed in China in2008, and approximately 10 million abortion pills sold. And this is more common in the urban area in which one-child policy is progressing. As we can see that many people will choose to have the abortion but they are unwilling to have the punishment. Therefore, we strongly agree that abortion should be legalized.

4.The right of the mother
The decision of having a baby depends on the right of the mother. Everybody has freedom and the society need to respect the human rights and the freedom. Also, it is the right of the mother to choose whether she want abortion or not. And the society need to respect their choice because everybody has freedom.

5
The situation of the young mother
Some young mother will be pregnant when they were still studying in the high school. She cannot let the school to know that she has a baby and that she decided to have abortion or she will expel by the school. In this case, since the girl needs to finish the study in the high school in order to have the certificate to find a job, she cannot not let the chance to go away just because she has pregnant and thus it is very often that she has the abortion. And she cannot just stop studying and give birth to a baby, but rather she need to continue her study and give up the baby.

Con

1. abortion just like an awful crime
Abortion just like killing a person . After the abortion, the baby inside the mother’s body will die. And this action is immoral, cruel and unusual. It is a selfish act. Also, abortion can be consider as a crime because you will kill once life.We know that life is precious but why we need to kill once life? Also, the baby inside the mother’s body is her baby and how can a mother kill her own child? We also need to respect the baby ‘s life. Maybe the mother thinks that it is not a human begin when the baby is inside her body, but it is actually a baby. So, we strongly oppose that abortion just be legalized.

2. It often leads to unwanted memories
Abortion can result into great stress and depression. Some women experience a feeling of guilt, which lasts for their whole lifetime. In short, abortion can turn out to be a lifetime worth of burden. Also, after the abortion, both the mental and the psychologyical health of the mother will be greatly affected. Her body will be weaker than before and her psychological health will be greatly affected. She will even has a lot of pressure and maybe she will feel regret of what she did before. And after a long period of time of the abortion, and she continue to think of the baby, then her psychological health will be very poor.

3. The responsible of the mother
Mother have the responsibility to give birth and raise a baby, mother cannot abort the baby because of some reasons. Even if the child has some mental problem or whatsoever, the mother still need to do her responsibility .If the mother really do not want the baby, why don’t the mother have a good safety preparation before having sexual behavior? And after the mother know she has the baby, then it is a good time for her to have the responsibility to care her baby but not just left the baby behind and have the abortion.

4. The right of baby
Maybe you will say mother have their own right to choose to abortion or not. It is very true that mother have their own right. So as babies, they also have their own right. Every human beings will have the right to choose and so as the baby. They also want to alive. Fewer people will think of the right of babies as they think that babies know nothing as they were small. It is a wrong thinking. Since the babies cannot speak and need to be kill under abortion, it is unfair to the baby. And the baby should have to right to enjoy his or her life and remember he or she has the human rights. Although he or she do not know how to speak or express, they do have their rights.

5. The embryo also has heartbeat
Some people think that it is no problem to have abortion before the shape of the baby is formed since they think that there is no heartbeat when the baby was formed. But they are totally wrong. It is because there is heartbeat initiating as early as 21st day of conception. If you have abortion in this time, you will also be counted as harming once life. We cannot just think that the baby is not human when she is inside the mother’s body. But rather, it is already a human begins and the baby has heartbeat. If we have abortion, then that means the mother has already killed a human begin and so she has already committed the crime. This kind of action is immoral and cruel. And the mother should respect the baby’s life.

6. An abortion can cause serious psychological impairment
Although the mother having abortion, the mother may have serious psychological problems after abortion and it may harm the mother’s life. After the abortion, the mother may always think of the baby or she will even feel remorse to the abortion. And as time passes by, their psychological health will be greatly affected. Also, after the abortion, the mother’s body will be very wake .In this way abortion should not be accept as it is more harmful than giving birth to a baby. As a result, after the abortion, both the psychological health and the health of the mother will be greatly affected.

Although the mother is going through an unfortunate circumstance right now, she is still responsible for carrying out the pregnancy. The woman then has the option to choose whether or not she wants to keep the baby or to give it up for adoption. Also, life is very precious and not something that we can just choose to end for someone else when we are wanting to so we can carry on with our lives like nothing has never happened. Currently, I believe that many people stand behind the belief that the woman has the right to choose whether she wants to abort the baby or not since it is her body. Therefore, many think that the woman is not morally permissible to having and/or keeping the baby. After reviewing the argument I believe that for many people they take the stance that the woman should be able opt out of having the baby and choose the option of abortion if that is what they are…

To begin with, some women have no choice, but to resort to abortion. In far too many situations, women especially are targeted, and get sexually abused from strangers, or even family members which is even more disturbing. By having the baby it can be emotionally scarring, and a daily reminder of the abuse or harassment. "They are too young or do not have a reliable partner with whom to raise a child" ( ).…

Due to unwanted pregnancies and financial distress, many children are often mistreated and neglected which leads to the idea of abortion as the right decision. Mistreatment and neglect to the child may occur from the mother because the child resembles his or her father, which will be a continuous reminder of what happened (Meehan, Mary 1). It is also not right for a woman to have to go through full-term pregnancy with a child that has been conceived through rape (Maheen, Mary 3). Abortion is necessary for women who have fallen victim to rape or for women who are not financially able to support a family.…

In the case of a pregnancy where the woman is facing physical complications, an abortion should be available if needed. Some examples of physical complications include placenta previa (the placenta is attached close to or covering the cervix), ectopic pregnancy (the fertilized egg becomes embedded outside the womb), and pre-eclampsia (pregnancy induced hypertension). These life-threatening situations would pose a serious hazard to the mother if the child is carried full term, which means the mother’s life could be spared if an abortion is performed.…

An abortion occurs when the pregnancy is ended or terminated by physical means so that it does not result in the birth of a child. Sometimes this is called ‘termination of pregnancy’. The fetus is removed from the womb, either by taking a pill (medically proven), which is taken to cause a miscarriage. The second way is surgical. Surgical abortion occurs when the fetus is removed from the womb with instruments. Most of all abortions is taken care of on a one day basis, meaning it is not required to stay overnight. There are several instruments used to terminate the pregnancy. The instruments used during the surgery are called Manual Vacuum Aspiration, Uterine Curette, Syringe, Forceps, Cervical dilators and last but not least, Embryotomy scissors. The…

Abortion is the act of killing the foetus or baby while it is still in the mother's womb. In the US and many other countries this is legal for the first four months of the pregnancy as aborting after four months is said to be terminating the life of not so much a foetus but a baby. There are a few different methods of abortion. One is to have the baby surgically removed through which the baby's feet are pulled by the abortionist and the living baby is pulled out of the womb except for the head. The abortionist then creates a wound in the base of the baby's skull with scissors or a metal tube and removes the baby's brain with a sucking vacuum-like machine before completely delivering a dead baby. Another way is to medically abort which involves taking medication in the form of a tablet to make impossible conditions in the womb for the baby to live and then delivering the dead foetus.…

Induced abortions happen at the disposal of the mother and follow a procedure in which there is a surgical procedure involved or the intake of a pharmaceutical drug. Both procedures have the serve same purpose, the forceful removal of an embryo from the mother’s womb. Spontaneous abortions, also commonly known as “miscarriages” happen unintentionally with the 24th and 20th week of pregnancy. Many miscarriages have to do with trauma, vascular diseases, infections, chromosomal abnormalities and diabetes among many other…
