I really learned a lot from you and this course Lynda. First, I have learned a lot about APA formatting, which will help me in my future courses. Also, how to research a topic more thoroughly to make my main points stronger when writing.     Many people engage in community service project because they are either forced as a punishment or sentence. Others engage in community service out of Spirit of unselfishness, or a desire to connect with their communities by helping out. For me, it brings a sense of completeness. During the past few semester my team members and I have engage in different projects, Collecting food, clothes and donating to the homeless. In a way I’ve experience working the different organizations and helping the community. But with this particular project, it meant much more then collecting for the disadvantaged, It was about lending a hand and your heart to a community in need.. During my involvement in this fieldwork project I got the opportunity to offer my unconditional assistance for one day in a non-profit making community based project. The name of the project was Liberty City Construction, which is being undertaken by a Christian ministry organization whose aim is to improve the livelihood of low-income families through building affordable and decent houses at a 0% interest rate. The organization founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda fuller has built and rehabilitated more then 100,000 families in need, becoming the world leader in addressing the issues if poverty housing.     Freshmen year of college is a frightening thing to think, especially the frightening things you hear about it, such as a twenty-page essay APA style.
