In Christine Lee’s “A Trend Taken Too Far：The Reality of Real TV,” she goes on
the note that Survivor has opened a new page of reality television. It succeeds in
attracting and keeping viewer’s attention and interest. Christine explains that the
reality shows which were developed after Survivor are dull. In order to pull the viewer
into the show and meet people’s curiosity and gossip, some reality shows utilize
sensationalism, such as sex, horror, and violence, others use a large cash prizes to
