A dominant trait in Disney movies is that only the voices of the privileged matter, while they cast the villains out. They show that villains’ voices have no significance in the story.
Disney would always throw the limelight on the privileged ones because they are the right people, happy-go-lucky, energetic and beautiful, while they stereotype villains as the very unfortunate ones, the most despicable one, greatly dangerous and wicked. In Postcolonial theory, the subaltern describes the lower classes, voiceless people whose story narrated by others. The formation of their identity is not by their own volition, but based on other’s ideas on them. The privileged ones and other characters in the story,
