A Modest Proposal
A MODEST PROPOSAL FOR ENSURING THAT WOMEN HAVE THE RIGHTS THEY DESERVE IN ORDER TO ACQUIRE THE SAME AMOUNT OF PAYMENT WHERE JOBS ARE CONCERNED IN CANADA.
The average hard-working woman who does gruelling work in order to feed her children does not have enough time to spend with her children, maintain the family home and still manage to bond with her husband.
Apparently, women almost everywhere have the right to vote, and make up more than half of all voters. However, they are still unable to make it to top positions and play only a minor role in high-level political and economic decision-making in most countries. They are still the blunt of many jokes despite the amount of awareness and rights that they already have. I think that women who are preoccupied with the idea that they must be “well-rounded” in order to create a name for themselves in and out of the house are unreasonable. When their suffering children are concerned it can only bring us, males to shame to let our wives go out and work like this. It is important to acknowledge that a woman could not and will not be the best at everything. Something has to give!
These are my own thoughts on this contentious topic: a woman should not get as much pay anyway. I mean, why do they deserve this? I have seen women make great mothers, wives and housekeepers without having to step a foot outside of their houses. I have seen smart, intelligent women do what they are told by their husbands what to do and they do so without an argument. Nowadays it all seems to boil down to being superior to the male however this must come to a stop. The more women’s rights there are, the fewer men’s rights there will
