A few days had passed and the three came across a small village. As they entered they saw it demolished to nothing. Reo went up to a man and asked what had happened. They were told that a demon man had come to the village and destroyed it. Errlor could see glimpses of what happened in his mind. He knew who it was. Reo asked where the dead were and were led to the cemetery. The three examined the bodies and Errlor became even more sure it was him. He pulled his friends off to the side and told them it was his brother, Hezor.

The three then began to run for both the dragon and their lives. They did not want to encounter the demon, and they had to reach the dragon. Suddenly, Kileo heard Hezor speak to him. "So you seek the dragon. Luckily for you we know where he is. Join us and we'll take you to him." "I've waited a long time to find that beast and kill it. The battle did not last long. The men fought valiantly against the demons. Especially against a tall giant demon. It was armed with mace and nearly unstoppable. But, there was one it could not win against. Reo was the one who defeated it. Not without help though. As Reo and the demon battled with magic, Hezor attempted to stop him. Errlor leapt forward and knocked his brother back. The battle was short lived between them as well. Suddenly, Errlor prevailed when he stabbed Hezor in the back. Before his life faded he stabbed Errlor over and

Without knowing literature has been seldom following the same archetype, The Hero’s Journey. Joseph Campbell discovered that most stories follow this pattern which is why he dubbed it the monomyth. Through years of studying he found that this popular motif is made up of ten basic steps that a hero follows through a story.
