A Christian Worldview
There are many different worldviews but my world view is Christian worldview and my personal thoughts and beliefs on God and Worldview I feel to be very strong. What is a worldview? “A worldview is a set of beliefs about reality and human nature.” (Cosgrove. M.P., 2006; p.18) I see many people in our society being viewed and discriminated due to those beliefs. I find this dishearten. My worldview has taught me to treat others the way I would want to be treated. Reality, Human Value, Ethics, Human Purpose, and Suffering are just a few types of beliefs and the worldview being examined. As individuals in the world today we should keep an open-mind to different beliefs, not saying we need to convert to a different religion or belief but just

I believe that life is not pointless and we all have a purpose in life. God has given us all a purpose and it is up to us to live up to it. What are human beings and what happens when we die? Atheistic Existentialism believe “human beings are essentially biological creatures, not souls in bodies, but with bodies that through choice “turn on” temporary souls.” (Cosgrove, M.P., 2006; p115) As a Christian we believe that God created us in His own image and sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. I have learned through the past seven weeks that there are many religions that do not believe the same thing and as a Christian I need to be open-minded to what they believe as well as what I believe. I believe when I die that I will go to heaven and live with God and the ones who have passed before me. Others may believe in reincarnation; which is “taught by Eastern religions, this is the cycle of birth and death and rebirth. Life is not heading toward some spiritual heaven but is locked into this endless cycle.” (Cosgrove, M.P., 2006; p. 133) I believe that God tests us continuously to see if we are strong enough to continue to commit to Him and His word. I believe as a Christian God allows us to suffer and get ill but it there through it all with us. I know all to be true about my worldview as a Christian because I was taught at a young age about God, Jesus, the Holy Ghost and the Bible to be the way of life and I continue to believe today the same as I did then. I can say that my faith continues to grow stronger each
