A Career As An Ultrasound Technologist

Since I was a little girl I always dreamed about working in the medical field now that I am older and ready to start the path to my career I have chose on becoming a Ultrasound Technologist for various reason. To begin with what gave me the extra push on deciding this particular career path as a Ultrasound Technologist was attending my mothers pregnancy ultrasound appointments and the excitement we would receive when the sonographer would demonstrate to us on the screen my little brothers face, arms and legs. It's an unexplainable excitement we would receive and I want to be able to give that same feeling to others, it excited me that hopefully in a couple years this dream of mine will come true.
I am amazed by the technology we have and how we use it in such amazing ways. And I know with this career I will never stop learning, and the challenges will not stop due to the new ultrasound technology rising each year. I love learning about the human body and the way it works this career path will give me the opportunity to go more in depth seeing it from a new dimension that not many individuals get to. I enjoy helping helping others and with sonography I will be able to do that, by taking the perfect ultrasounds that will help with diagnosis, so patients can receive the appropriate treatment that can save there lives. I will be receiving a feeling of fulfillment with what I do.
