A Brief Look At Dwayne Johnson
The Rock had a very unsurpassable wrestling career while working for the world wrestling federation. He was born into a wrestling family. Both, his Dad and his grandfather were both wrestlers (“Dwayne Johnson” Biography.com). When The Rock was beginning his wrestling career, he only made a low total of Forty Five dollars a day,which is hard to believe with this generations wages. To get by, he had to live off of grits and eggs at the waffle house that was closest to him. Another reason his career is a big success is that he is known for his conflicts with Stone Cold Steve Austin (“Dwayne Johnson” Biography.com). Along with there little arguments, they fought in the ring multiple times, and they even sang a duet of Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffett. …show more content…
Dwayne Johnson can play a various range of roles. Some of those roles include A Hockey Player, Football player, Undercover agent, A Former Prisoner seeking revenge, and a Tooth Fairy (“Biography”). Dwayne Johnson won't act in a movie unless it's meaningful. He won't participate in a movie unless it has Heart, almost like the Innocence of a child (Fox). During the beginning of his career, he worked with some other wrestlers such as Steve Brand, Bernard Hill, Kelly Hu, Roger Rees, Nick Hermz and Sherri Howard from WWE too lead in the scorpion King (“Biography”). Another reason Dwayne started his acting career is that he wanted to make his audience laugh. Some comedy movies that he was in Include Baywatch, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Moana, and Central Intelligence. One final example of how The Rock has had a phenomenal Acting career is that he made friends on the sets of movies that he shot. A couple of examples would be people such as kevin hart, Central Intelligence, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker from the Fast and the Furious movies and Jack Black from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (“Biography”). One of the many reasons the rock is inhumanly dedicated to his wrestling and acting careers is that he didn't want to fail his father. The Rock's Dad, Rocky Johnson was a Professional wrestler and Rocky wanted his son too follow in his footsteps. So the rock trained his hardest and first joined the Uswa as Flex Kavanah (“Bowles”). Then he moved too multiple other leagues until he joined the WWE. The Rock shared how he reached success in both of his careers. His secret is hard work and gratitude, A person also needs to be focused in those professions. They can't walk up to the table with a ego. Another point of motivation for The Rock is that he wants his kids, Jasmine Johnson and Simone Alexandra Johnson to have a better childhood than the one he had. One day when The Rock was 14, he came home too his house with his mother. While they were out, their landlord evicted them, his mother feel too the ground on her knees, crying. The Rock then wanted to get a better life, not only for his children in the future, but also for his Mom and Dad (Fox). Finally, The Rock is so dedicated, he has been nominated and won multiple awards. He was nominated for Best Artist of the year award four times. He won Action star of the Year in 2012.
