9/11 Narrative Report
One day on September 11, 2001 I woke up to the sound of screaming, I looked back and there were people with red bandanas and bombs on their chest. I told the people in the first two rows “I got this, just watch”

It was 8:45 in the morning and I fell asleep before the plane took off. We were supposed to be going to Los Angeles but we were going towards the North Tower but we were in the middle of turning around I dialed 911 and said “Hello police we are on flight eleven Boeing seven hundred sixty-seven and there are five hijackers, four here in the aisles and one flying the plane”.

They officer on the other line said “Ok”. I said back “I think they are heading towards the North Tower because I see on the news that the south tower has already been hit, SO EVAC THE NORTH TOWER NOW! Not trying to be rude.” “Ok. Just stay calm and try and help out here and don’t just sit there and be taken over”. I hurried and hung up the phone because the terrorist were coming up to my area. I looked back and said “Please stop, why are you doing this I mean like there is no reason to do so”. He said back “Because it is what we believe in we believe that is you die in a suicidal mission that we will go to our God, plus our boss tells us to”. “Well who is your boss? Because if he told you that’s he’s half wrong and half right but you are killing people and that’s going to get you nowhere”. “I’m not allowed to tell you who my boss is!” “Are you people part of the Al-Qaeda?

He hurried and walked to the back. I dialed 911 again “Hello? It’s me again the guy who is on the plane going towards the tower. I was talking to one of the terrorist and I figured out that the terrorists were a part of the Al-Qaeda and they are here to terrorize us! “. “Ok, the building is evacuated just try to stop the plane from hitting the North Tower”. I hung up once

The attack on the United States on September 11, 2001 (better known as 9/11) by Osama Bin Laden rammed a wedge into the relationship between the United States and the Islamic world. In result the U.S. invaded Afghanistan and the invaded Iraq. Professor Irogbe’s article on the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq argues that the U.S. actions are igniting rather than reducing global terrorism and if U.S. were to withdraw troops from these countries it would promise for global peace and security. The article covers the cost of human and financial resources of the war, abuses committed by invaders including the application of extraordinary rendition, the indefinite detention of prisoners…

Hearing the event from the perspective of a person who wasn’t directly affected or near the crash introduces a whole new type of experience. People, who like my parents, only received notice of the crash because of a family member they had no idea was in any kind of danger. My parents, at the time, weren’t aware of the importance of the Twin Towers or this possibility of a new worry of terrorism. They were able to be reassured simply by the fact that every loved one in the U.S then was okay. This particular perspective added to my knowledge of the personal experiences of the event, how the impact of the event can immediately increase because of a loved one being involved. Another detail from the interview that added to my knowledge was my mom…

Trembling down the streets Elizabeth was getting compliments left and right about her gorgeous brown hair and her bright blue eyes. She was used to all the compliments on the street because she had a long walk from work. She was so tired from a case she worked really hard on that evening in court. Even though on the inside she was half asleep she always looked like a bright sunflower shining through the crowded streets of New York City, Times Square. Her family was coming over tonight, which was a big deal since they only come once in a blue moon. She spent…

It’s being outside past midnight on a winter night. It’s a secret - it’s something we’re not supposed to see. The sky is purple but it’s also white. And why is it so bright out? The streetlamps mix the colors into a dynamic palate, with a hint of bronze. And the snowflakes the snowflakes the snowflakes. They’re frozen. Yes they are literally frozen water but that’s not what I mean. It’s chaos but if you look closer it’s not chaos. Look up. Look closer - they’re suspended in thin air, but every time you exhale they start falling again. It’s hushed. It’s a secret. You’re not supposed to look. You’re supposed to wake up the next morning and look outside while you’re making coffee and think, “Huh. Maybe they’ll cancel classes today”.…

It was unusually cold on this morning of September 11th, 2001, and my alarm had just went off. The odd but needed 5 am. was when I woke up, because my flight was going to leave around 8:30 and I needed to be there on time. The reason I was flying to San Francisco was I was having a family reunion with my dad, my step-mom, and my step-brothers. So, I jumped in the shower quickly with joy and excitement. I hadn't seen my family in forever since I had gotten a job as the assistant of the manager in Ralph Lauren Headquarters. I had just gotten my hair dried as I heard my phone ring. It was dad, making sure that I was on my way. I talked to him for a few minutes and then hung up. I glanced at the clock and realized…

Never in my life had I seen a woman quite as beautiful as her. I woke up on the morning of September 11, 2001 and looked at my wife still sleeping next to me. I took a moment to revel in her beauty, and think about what it would be like to be a father. Irene was eight months pregnant with a little boy. I had no doubts that she would be an outstanding mother, but i doubted myself. I'm a firefighter, I'm never home. What if I wasn't the best dad? So many things rushed my mind, but I pushed them aside and began gathering my things to head to work. It was only 5 o'clock so I was very careful not to wake my sleeping wife. She was exhausted and I knew it, so my intentions were to let her rest. I've never regretted anything more than not waking her on that morning. I walked out my front door without so much as an "I Love You." or a "Goodbye sweetie, have a good day!" I was gone to work, gone to Squad 252 of the FDNY.…

When we were getting escorted outside I looked up and saw the counter assault team with snipers and men with binoculars and helicopters buzzing around I said to my brother “wow look at all this action that goes into one visit isn't it crazy!” He replied “yes it is insane!” Now we hear big rumbles and out of the gray clouds we see lights and blue I said “he’s here!” While the plane slowly descends from the sky you can see it a better view. All of a sudden you hear the screech of the tires and all the agents that were sitting there patiently waiting for his arrival start working like ants this is what they are trained to do to protect the president of the united states. The plane slowly rolls up the rumble of the engine is so much for my ears to handle then it starts to go quiet. Few minutes later you hear the unlatch of the door and it swings open and you are presented with the presidential seal on the inside of the door. All I could think about in that moment is the presidents that had meetings and top secret calls and that it was the traveling oval office or the president on 9/11 and it was just sitting in front of me in all of its glory. Minutes later you finally see the president and he comes up to the rope line and shakes people's hands and finally we were next I had butterflies in my stomach I had no idea what to say…
