7th Grade Narrative
I’m going to tell you about my life from the end of 7th grade to the end of 8th grade. At the end of seventh grade I had went to both my brothers C-tec and Watkins graduation. After both graduations we had a graduation party and I got to see family members I haven’t seen in forever. I got to hang out with my cousin and eat a lot of delicious foods. A few days later it was the last day of school and all I did was hang out with all of my friends. After that it was finally summer! My whole summer pretty much consisted of babysitting 6 kids…. Everyday. I took kids outside, fed the babies, and changed diapers. Also in my free time I tried to hang out with my friends and cousins as much as possible. On one hot summer day my family and my cousin, aunt, and uncle went out to Zoombezi Bay to ride water slides to cool off, we had a blast. Also in my free time on the weekends I would help my …show more content…
Then December comes. It’s christmas time! For Christmas I got a lot of stuff. I got a laptop, a mini drone, clothes, and shoes. I also got to hang out with my nephews, sister, and brother-in-law. We ate Christmas dinner together, and later on my grandparents came over for a bit. I then spent the rest of my Christmas break babysitting my nieces and nephews. Every New Year's Eve we hang out with my aunt, uncle, and cousins and celebrate the new year. This year it was at our house. We had a big balloon drop, confetti cannons, and yummy food.

New year!
It’s New Year's day, I spent my whole day helping my sister and her family move. A few days later we celebrated my niece's first birthday, it was winter themed. She was so cute in her birthday outfit, and eating her cake. We go to February, it was my cousin’s birthday, she had a huge birthday party, we went bowling and played in the game area. Then after we went to her house and had a sleepover, we stayed up all night and ate ice cream and candy. The day after we were really tired and I went home and fell asleep.

In the story “Seventh Grade,” Victor, the main character, learns that persevering to achieve something can lead to embarrassing moments that can at first make you feel like a fool, but later on it can become something great through his embarrassing moments. The author illustrates this point when he states, Mr. Bueller asked if anyone knew French. Victor raised his hand, wanting to impress Teresa. The teacher beamed and said, “Tres bien. Parlez-vous francais?” Victor didn’t know what to say. Victor felt all eyes staring at him. He tried to bluff his way to out by making noises that sounded French (Soto 42-43) He looked sheepishly at the teacher, who was erasing the board, then widened his eyes in terror at Teresa who stood in front…

Yough Intermediate Middle School, a comical and controlled environment. Waking up everyday to come to school is a nuisance. It worth every second of the day because of the amazing teachers, students, and staff. The curricular activities are as creative as a Picasso painting. The adventures I have gone on in Yough has taken me through life even more. The adventures have been vigorous, inferior, and patchy.…

Until I was three years old, I was having fun as a toddler by myself. Although, a month before my fourth birthday, I received a beautiful baby sister named Kinsley Ann Kemper. Little did I know that within about nine years she was going to become an ornery child. When she was little, my parents had to set rules for me to follow because they knew that I could follow the rules that they gave me, while they were taking care of Kinsley. Also, when I was three, I started to go to dance. My first year of dance, I got an award for the dancer of the year, which made me very overjoyed and excited at the same time. I can still remember…

It’s the first day of 8th grade and everything was normal, the bus ride was the same as the year's previous ride. High schoolers were yelling at the little kids to sit in the front of the bus and the elementary kids yelling at each other across the seats. The closer the bus got to school the colder I got. I was pulling my sweatshirt closer around me to try to get warmer but that wasn't working; It was like the cold was under my clothes seeping into my bones.…

December 19th was the day we left Detroit to head to my aunt's house in Orlando Florida for Christmas. But before we got to Florida we made a couple pit stops on the way. The first stop was wildlife in need in Indiana. That was my birthday gift for my parents. We had tickets for the baby tiger playtime. Which was my favorite thing I've ever done. After that we headed to Nashville Tennessee which ended up being our next stop. We stayed at the Hampton inn in downtown Nashville. The next morning we explored for a few hours then meet up with my sister at their hotel. After we hung out with her for a while, we were back on the road again. Instead of take the Georgia route we took the Alabama route because none of us has ever been to Alabama. I haven't…

As I mentioned in previous chapters, I had at one point in my school career gone to Cannelton schools. However, it was at this time that I had exchanged schools. It’s a bler, trying to look back on when I was a preschooler, so first grade was a mess. First grade is a life changer. Going to Tri-Point in Piper City not even for a full year. Tri-Point is a small old school just like ROWVA. I remember changing schools because my parents got a divorce. We moved to Peoria and lived there with my mom's parents. I got transferred to a Catholic school. Every Wednesday the whole place went to church right across the street. It was the worst thing ever sitting in the old creepy church listening the Father talk about only “God” knows what. My teacher's name was Mrs. Heartstick, no I did not make the name up. She grossed me out. He hands very dry and cracked, they looked like an old man's hands who had worked his whole…

“Take away my good name, take away my life” This is a quote that I’m sure everyone in this room can probably relate to. We all remember our high school days, we wanted everyone to know our name. We wanted popularity and our reputation meant the world to us. What we do and how we act reflects directly on our name. For Shea Simmons what happened to her name was not her fault. Shea spent countless hours practicing and working on Mock Trial, working towards getting the scholarship from the Metropolitan Bar Foundation. Everything seemed perfect and at the end of the finals-they had won! However, all that came crashing down a few days later. Because of one childish blog post, a coach with a thirst for winning, and a jealous teenager Shea’s dreams…

Algebra 1, most students enroll in this class their freshman year. A few special students take this class their eighth grade year. An even smaller pool of students are given the option to take this class their seventh grade year. Fortunately, I was part of the small group of students able to take Algebra 1 my seventh grade year. Not only did I make all A’s, but I also scored a pass plus on my ECAs for that class at a solid 729.…

Middle school was really weird time for me. It seemed like it was the most dramatic / drama filled. Our school at St. Peters was messed up, anything that could happen did. I've had teacher come up to me and ask for answers to what happened. Students doing bad things and etc. Also middle school to me was so fun, because people who I like got in trouble because of me. If you weren't my friend at St. Peters you better hope that you weren't mean to me, because if you were the teachers would find out what you did and they get in trouble.…

Fall 2014 I felt at home and warm when I walked into Harper Woods high school. I spent countless nights trying to help my younger brother, who was 6 then, with his homework then put him to bed. Nights like those mom was pulling overtime and was working night shift. I could see how hard mom work to maintain the home and feed her offspring. Life wasn't terrible and it sure wasn't depressing, it was a learning experience. My tenth grade summer I applied to a caddie program at the Country Club of Detroit, in Grosse Pointe…
