Compared to HDD (Hard Disk Drives), they surpass this old age technology at every aspect, from performance to life expectancy. However, SSDs are more expensive too in that respect, but considering all the advantages, the hefty price tag is a small price to pay, especially if you have data that is so crucial that you can’t bring yourself to part with it.
