November 9, 2017 Shooting a man is better than freedom of religion There has always been a debate about weather the 1st amendment is more important Than the 2nd amendment. In this article I will be talking about why I think the 2nd amendment is more important than the 1st, the reason I believe the 2nd amendment is more important is that it allows us to bear arms, this means we are allowed to own weapons such as guns, knives, brass knuckles, etc... there have been many recordings most famous is when Paul Revere took his midnight ride and warned all the townsfolk that the red coats were coming so most of them started a militia and got as many guns as possible. Even if we didn’t have a 1st amendment we would still be safe because of the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment allows us to bear arms if neccesary and allows us to holster a weapon/self defense gadget such as pepper spray, brass knuckles, a gun etc... this keeps us safe and well never have to worry to much about being robbed or killed because you can own these self defense gadgets. This is also a great way for protection if your stranded, alone, or if the cops aren't at your location yet, you'll be able to protect your self thanks to the 2nd amendment. There is a down side though due to the freedom to own a gun or weapon there has been a huge increase in robbers, thugs, killers, ect... this is a big problem and has put the cops on their toes and watching the security footage 24/7 due to the fact that there has been a ton of killers and robbers on the loose. The 2nd amendment may keep us safe but it can also be used to harm and rob and who knows what, as well as it is great it is also a danger that is why there is a big debate about whether or not we should be aloud to own guns and what
