Today's world is full of competition. There is no space for comfort in this throat-cut competition. And our Educational board is providing relief to the students by introducing grading system in board. In my view grading system will made students more relax & there will be no competition to score good or high marks. This will directly affect their competitive attitude, which is I think will be not good for students. In this world, lack of competitive attitude in a person means they will not survive in the world. Students are the future of their country, so how can they bright the future of their country when they are no where in this breath-taking world...??As we all know, there is two sides- one is positive & another one is negative. Our Educational Board who thinks to reduce the suicidal cases of students. But what abt the students who are getting more than 90% marks...??Let us consider, if a student gets 90% & another one is getting 85% but the grade awarded to them is same....then what is the use of 90% marks. This will totally discourage them. They will be depressed. They will think what's the need of so much hard working when there is no use of it.Take a real experience of mine in engineering, I talk to one of my senior, who is meritorious student of his branch, he told me that in the first semester, he studied too much, gave full time to studies & scored 90% marks but he said what's the use of it. His colleagues who didn't study well also scoring equivalent marks to him. I know these all thoughts were came in the minds of the students."Marks doesn't matter, knowledge matters"The main reason of increasing suicidal cases is a worrying issue. The reason behind it, is the lack of good & effective education. In the end, I strongly oppose the Grading System. Our education should not be a burden for students. They should be encourage not discourage. Parents & teachers only helps students to overcome it & of course students also

You will be helping Galileo perform the experiment to determine if objects with different mass fall at the same, or different, rates in the air and in a vacuum. Before you conduct your experiment, you need to form a hypothesis. A hypothesis is a prediction of what you think will happen in the experiment. The hypothesis is a statement that describes “if” a certain set of circumstances are present “then” there will be a specific result that will occur.…

It is very important to respond to Non Commission Officers because they are the back bone of the marine corps and there would be no marine corps if it wasnt for the non comission officers. I have been tought everything i know about the marine corps from ncos . Also ncos have the hardest jobs in the marine corps ,like being a drill instructor or a squad leader. They also have to be the best leaders and the most inform about any situation. Most of the time ncos know more than officers do. Marine corps Non-Commissioned Officers have tales of their combat experiences have become the stuff of legends. NCOs are the Corporals and Sergeants responsible for the lives of their men in combat. Also they must be leaders of men, but also much more. They carry with them the traditions of duty and dedication to their mission. There is a creed that every NCO lives by. the creed is" I am an NCO dedicated to training new Marines and influencing the old. I am forever conscious of each Marine under my charge, and by example will inspire him to the highest standards possible. I will strive to be patient, understanding, just, and firm. I will commend the deserving and encourage the wayward. I will never forget that I am responsible to my Commanding Officer for the morale, discipline, and efficiency of my men. Their performance will reflect an image of me. " this creed is very important ,its how th marine corps is ran because the marine corps is pracrtically ran by these ncos. Ncos have also been responsible for victoys in many major battles. Tradition holds that in the Battle of Chapultepec in 1847, Marine NCOs sustained an unusually high casualty rate during this battle. In 1849, uniform regulations dictated that the stripes be changed to a solid red. Ten years later, a red cord was inserted into the outer seams for non commissioned officers and in 1904, the simple red stripe seen today was adopted. The marine corps uniforms would not be the same if it wasnt for the Non…

Graders and educators seem to emphasize assignments and grading for performance and understanding. The grading system basically labels a student’s image either being a smart/average/”dumb”. Knowing this will run very deep in how a child careers their self around school or when they have to do an assignment. The grading system makes the student more focused on what they can do to get the grade that is Above Standard than actually care about what they’re researching or learning about, this is assessing students and categorizing them basically in groups based on their knowledge and skill in the course. Teachers do try to motivate their students but it doesn’t always work and students begin to chase their grade and become disinterested in the course material. I saw a post the other day on why students cheat on exams to pass and the top reply was this “When students cheat on exams it’s because of our school system values grades more than students…

ESTJs thrive on order and continuity. Being extraverted, their focus involves organization of people, which translates into supervision. While ENTJs enjoy organizing and mobilizing people according to their own theories and tactically based agendas, ESTJs are content to enforce "the rules," often dictated by tradition or handed down from a higher authority.…

The current test based system is a joke to the students who only care about what they receive on the exam. Especially in High school, everyone’s trying to get into the best college they could. Grades are all that matters to colleges and kids will do what they need to do to get them. Once they have them, they no longer care about the material they needed to achieve those…

College students these days seem to be worrying too much about getting rich in the future than finding something that they will love to do. They think they need to have it all figured out now and forget to take some creative classes and open their minds. “College Pressures” by William Zinsser, argues that students are stressing too much about planning their futures using mostly pathos.…

The English colonist called pilgrims were not colonist to begin with. The pilgrims celebrated the days of Thanksgiving as part of their religion. Those day were days of prayer, and not looked at as days of feasting as some would believe. The national Holiday really stems from the feast held in the autumn of 1621 by the pilgrims and the Wampanoag to celebrate the colony’s successful first harvest.…

I agree that a grading system is needed to keep students such as myself engaged and focused on completing assignments but I don’t believe that a grade should be the main focal point for learning. In concluding the experiment Mandrell asked her student to reflex on what were their thoughts of the experiment one of the students Chris stated “I work harder and learn more when the grade is on the line” I agree with Chris I can retain more information when grades are on the line because there’s something to work towards. Without the pressure of maintain good grades yes I agree I would become stress free when it comes to school but like most of Mandrell students I would start to feel like a lazy student and make bad habit for…

Grades are the least effective way of motivating a student. This can be said with such certainty due to the very nature of grades themselves. They serve to rank students against each other. Personally, when I feel as though somebody is putting me up against a friend, I feel much less willing to work harder for the class than if they were to simply tell me what I needed to change in order to excel. The Whitehall Study, performed in England 1967, has shown us with certainty that humans placed in a competitive hierarchical situation over prolonged periods of time will increase their chances of gaining cardiovascular disease by 40%. This shows us that students placed under similar…

It had been many years that CBSE had'nt changed the Education System for Classes IX and Xth.Everything was working smoothly but one thing which lacked in even the Toppers was the Lack in Important Human Values and other Qualities like confidence on Stage,Arts Etc which have more importance than marks to be called as an Educated Person! There is No Fun of 99 Marks out of 100 If you have got them by Cramming. CBSE realised this in the year 2009 and Mr.Lovely Singh, the Education Minister of India declared the start of the Grading System and the CCE! Grading System has been a great boon to the society. No Doubt that the competetion has decreased but according to me Competetion never brought any Good!! What happened due to Competetion was Suicides of Children because of their freinds getting more marks than them or etc…
