“If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.” Albert Einstein
It is well-said by Albert Einstein. To have a good life, it is essential to set a goal and start working on it from the beginning. Whatever we aim for, our lives should be designed around it. Some people aim to become doctor and some want to be engineer. Every goal is achievable if we work hard.
Everybody should have an aim in life. A man without an aim in life is merely a toy of circumstances. So, a man should decide the aim of his life. He may face many difficulties in realizing it, but if he has a strong determination, he must achieve success. At first i was aimless i changed my aim in life many times because i am confused what i want to be actually, what i wish from my mind. But now i fix it up, and i am strongly determined about it.
Now i will tell my story how could I select my aim in life.
When i was in class 3 or 4, I wrote in my examination paper that I would like to be a doctor. It’s a noble profession. But actually i didn’t meant to be a doctor. In class 6 or 7, i wanted to be a computer engineer but that time i didn’t know, what’s the actual profession of a computer engineer and i thought that a computer engineer is the person who can play games all day long in computer and no one can scold him/her. That’s why i wanted to be a computer engineer. If anyone asked me i used to answer that. But when i became a teenager i decided my aim in life. I like to paint from my childhood and have won many prizes, that’s why in that time i wished to be a painter. But unfortunately i failed to carry my aim, because my parents didn’t like that. They didn’t agree with my decision. They wanted me to be a banker. So i started studying in business study group in class 9 and set up my mind as a banker and stop painting. For their happiness i sacrificed my passion. After finishing my

Since little I was always asked what do I wanna be when I grow up? It’s funny because my parents always told me to just be happy. Whatever I do, whoever i’m with be a happy person. John Lennon gave a great example, As quoted he said “When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.” Happiness within is key. If you’re not happy with yourself and what you do then life is just irrelevant.…

I was disoriented, with no clues of available careers for my future. I would like to think that several dynamics in my life were characterized by the socioeconomic status of my family of origin. We are the classic example of a middle-class family in northern Italy. Both my parents came from humble families of farmers that shaped their vision of life. In their expectations for my future, economic stability through a permanent job was at the top of their list. Thinking about high levels of education was not even an option in my house; my parents never encouraged me to go to college or to find my vocation. On the contrary, I grow up with the perpetual teaching of being happy with what I had and not being envious of other families’ wealth. By thinking to have limited options, dreams, and ambitions, I ended up choosing a technical institute to become an electrician like my father. The consequences of that choice impact all my 5 years of high school. Lack of motivation and a deeper dissatisfaction stopped me in pursuing high grades and, consequently, considering university. At that time, I really thought I was a bad student. I remember a sense of intellectual inferiority towards other classmates. Unfortunately, I was not aware of my full potential and abilities in other disciplines, like…

Wayne Cordeiro puts it “You are one attitude away from a great life” The life that we live today is because of the life we have lived yesterday, together with all the right and wrong decisions made. If we choose to live a successful future life, we ought to carefully make the right decisions now. More so, look for something to improve in ourselves. Develop what needs to be developed in us. If we all ought to increase even just 1 percent of daily improvement, we will soon find out that at the end of the year, we have become 300 percent better than the previous year.…

When I was in my third grade of senior high school, I should choose the university and the major which I want to go on my further study after the college entrance examination. After the score came out, I chose Nursing as my first major. But my parents disagreed that strongly. Because I never said that I wanted to do something in the future relative with the medical career before. Both of them let me thought carefully because to be a nurse was very toilsome. Also, nurses always shift their work and they should go to work at night even. That’s a tired job. In addition, the process of being a nurse was difficult, too. My mother wanted me to be a teacher as her. At that time, I was so confuse that I didn’t know which one was suitable for me to choose. I knew what the advice my parents gave was good for me. I also knew my future was belongs me and I should make the choice by myself, not my parents. Maybe to be a teacher was good, but I didn’t like it for I so scare that I would mislead the kids. My mother quarreled with me because I didn’t follow what she said. For my insistence, my mother has to gave up and let me chose by myself. After this event, I decided all over the things by myself. No matter how important the thing is. Like the debates, although sometimes our opinions are different, we communicate our thoughts and make the choice depend on our own. If we hesitate to do one thing and do not make up our mind, we can’t do the thing successfully. So, when my university has the program of transferring to the ASU, I was attracted by this chance. I wanted to go so I told my parents what I thought. I knew it’s lonely and hard for me to study in an…
