1008ICT - Business Informatics
1.1 Introduction

The research paper on business informatics identifies how an organization can improve their business process by applying for a loan of $100,000 and to bring the business in the 21st century. The organization is currently offering accounting services to their customers throughout the UK and it needs to improve their information systems for their accounting business processes to bring the business in the 21st century. By adopting latest business practices, developing business strategies and by enhancing their sales and marketing activities, the organization can get competitive edge over their competitors. The paper examines how efficiently business processes can be adopted by the accounting firm to compete with their competitors in this fast growing and changing world. When the management and employees of the organization follow well tested steps, avoid errors and delays in business, the staff and customer will feel more comfortable. It evaluates how successfully a business process system can be developed within the structure of the organization to get customer complaints automatically about the poor quality of products and services, duplicated work can be avoided, costs can be reduced, the waste of resources can be reduced and deadlines can be effectively met considering the requirements of the business to enter in the 21st century.
