I feel like Zeta has become my home away from home and I want to experience everything Zeta has to offer me. I want to learn, improve, and grow as a person. Being on Executive Council can open so many doors for the future and ultimately make a difference while I am here. There will be many obstacles I will face, but I will push through them and become even stronger than I am now. I fully believe in our creed and what it means to be a zeta, and I want to be an even bigger part of the Delta Kappa chapter. As President of FBLA you must be a well rounded, organized, and motivated individual. You have to have interpersonal skills and you have to be confident while still being compassionate. Being given this opportunity is something that I do not take for granted, because I believe that I am meant to help others through this role. In the past our chapter has been a very stagnant chapter and I plan to change this. Currently we are planned to host our high school's first Thanksgiving canned food drive. We will be donating these goods to the people in need in our community. This Christmas, we plan to do a "giving tree" (combined with FCCLA) and then donate the clothing we receive. We are also going to do a Christmas basket project this winter. This…

It gave me a new perspective in life. With a passion to pursue biology, I have spent the last here years actively learning about the human body; from the types of functions it processes to the chemicals in the brain that create emotion. As a student, I understood very early in high school that success is not knowledge that you take in, rather it is the knowledge that one learns and then radiates to others. Not only did I start to mentor students as early as 10th grade, but also took time out to learn myself. To gain a broader perspective of the world and…
