1.04 The Golden Age of America:
By: Robert Wellen Rafael Cruz stated, “Only in America can someone start with nothing and achieve the American Dream. That 's the greatness of this country.” I believe that America is truly at its golden age. From medical advancements, technological advancements and military power, America is the apex figure in society. America has made several medical, scientific, and technological breakthroughs in the past ten years. The artificial pancreas development is a perfect example where a Study co-author Ed Damiano at Boston University also a biomedical engineer invented an artificial pancreas for his teenage son who was diagnosed with diabetes. Examples in technological advancements are cars that can drive themselves. To invent a car that can drive itself and have every other car on the road driving themselves on a network, there would be no accidents you could split your insurance rates and have less of a chance of injuring yourself. America is a political world power. Ever since the twentieth century after World War II, American’s success in intervening in international conflicts is at an all-time high. America’s military power gives America dominance over the entire world. America has a stable government and freedom to the citizens of America which includes: freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, the right to own property and freedom of religion. Those four main rights make America a refuge for immigrants around the world and a beacon of hope and opportunity for all, which is known as the American dream. America has made an immense effort to make education available for anyone willing to learn no matter what situation they are currently in. for instance this FLVS course is available to anyone to the state of Florida and education is the most important part of anything America. Our leaders, our teachers, all of those people were educated at one point of their life; it is like a continuous cycle. The children are taught by
