 Major Assignment This Assignment (Preferably word processed) must be submitted by Friday 10th January. The length of the assignment would be between 2-4 pages of A4. The Question you must research and answer is as follows:

TOPIC: Two of the short stories you have read “The Teacher” and “Lamb to the Slaughter” involve a death. Compare those two deaths which of course are very different and explain why those deaths occur. Who is responsible for the death which occurs in each of the two stories? We will be looking at the different between two stories one is “The Teacher” by Catherine Lim and “Lamb of the Slaughter” by Roald Dahl. In this two stories involve deaths which occurs the complicated scene in each of the two stories and the question is who responsible for these crime and why those death occur. “Lamb of the Slaughter” this is probably the most well–known of all Dahl's short stories, simply because (in my opinion) it's so simple. There isn't a single wasted word in it. It's gripping, shocking, and yet the story proceeds in such a rational manner that the reader's suspension of disbelief is never broken. We are with Mary Maloney from the first sentence of the story, and only at the end do we realize that we never really knew her at all. At first, we known completely that Mary is very silence housewife moral and exactly do waiting for her be lover Patrick, we didn`t really that she possible killed him. We are introduced to Mary Maloney, a pregnant housewife who recently found out that her husband is going to leave her. Mary develops into a very complex character as the events of the short story unfold. Mary is a typical housewife, waiting on her husband hand and foot. She loves him dearly, but as the short story unfolds, we see that he does not share the same feelings. Mary, unable to handle the rejection, lashes out and kills her husband. We then see Mary’s character transform before our eyes...
