Dear Voters,
I’m relying on your vote in November to revive our nation and return it to its former glory.
As Americans, we are blessed to be able to live in this wonderful melting pot of a country. By uniting, we can overcome the obstacles our nation may face, and enrich it for the better. Without your support, our nation will fall, never to rise from the ashes again.
If elected, I will strive to make women’s rights a priority. As a working class citizen, I realize how imperative this is in the workplace; that being said, I will also do what it takes to get those who NEED welfare, the resources they need, while those who are highly capable of working and being a functioning member of society shall have their welfare revoked. I will make sure the voices of the people are heard. Your opinions do matte, and I will do everything I can to make America a true democracy. Finally, I will strive to give marriage equality to all people of our nation. It’s their God given right to marry whoever they please, no matter their sexual orientation. Without your vote, our nation will be in shambles. Think hard.
Sincerely,
Josephine Liath.

Fighting To Smash the Patriarchy!
Environment: If elected, I will see to it that we do everything in order to preserve our country’s land for generations to come. In order to do so, I will do the following:
Enforce environmental awareness on both state and federal levels.
Motivate Congress to create laws limiting carbon emissions and plastic waste disposal. (Recycling)
Abortion: Every woman has the right to choose what she does with her body, regardless of our religious views, it’s her choice. In order to put emphasis on this, I will do the following:
Motivate Congress to pass laws stating that women should not have to keep the baby in instances of rape or incest due to sexual abuse.
Enforce policies aimed towards unions

In our time we have come to live with moments of great crisis. Our lives have been marked with debate about great issues; issues of war and peace, issues of prosperity and depression. But rarely in any time does an issue lay bare the secret heart of America itself. Rarely are we met with a challenge, not to our growth or abundance, our welfare or our security, but rather to the values and the purposes and the meaning of our beloved Nation.”…

It is my responsibility to America to preserve this country for the generations to come. People before me paved the way to a great American life, and it is every one of our responsibilities to keep it that way. My responsibility to America is to be an informed voter, knowing what candidates for public office think, and using my own moral judgment to vote for the best choice. I’m not yet old enough to vote, but I still know what’s going on in the elections, because it is my responsibility to elect leaders who will keep our country safe.…

Secondly, I would concentrate on the education system of the First Nations people. Equal education privileges for First Native people have been one of the biggest, most dates issues. Presently, First Nation people do have several benefits such as free undergraduate studies in Canada, etc. I still believe education is something that needs to be enhanced. As the National President of the Assembly of First Nations I would make sure there was a funding for lifetime learning of our First Nations peoples. I would make sure the languages of First Nations peoples would be recognized, and I would finally improve the issues of the regional issues. Education is a necessity in our society and I believe First Nations should have the opportunity to learn and be educated just like any…

Abortion, it’s not a choice that any woman would ever want to have to make, but it’s a decision that she should have the right to make. If it comes down to the possibility of her and her baby losing their lives, she should be able to stop this possibly fatal pregnancy. The body is hers, the baby is hers, and the choice should be hers. If you disagree, make the choice for your own body. Abortion should be legal.…

Choosing Electoral Systems: Proportional, Majoritarian and Mixed Systems Pippa Norris (Harvard University) For Contrasting Political Institutions special issue of the International Political Science Review Vol 18(3) July 1997: 297-312. edited by Jean Laponce and Bernard Saint-Jacques In the past, electoral systems have usually proved one of the most stable democratic institutions. Minor tinkering with the rules and regulations concerning the administration of elections has been common, including amendments to the laws governing election broadcasts, financial disclosure, or constituency redistricting. In the post-war period countries have occasionally switched electoral formulas between d'Hondt and LR-Hare, adjusted the effective threshold for election, and expanded their assembly size (Lijphart, 1994). Yet until recently wholesale and radical reform of the basic electoral system --meaning the way votes are translated into seats -- has been relatively rare. The most significant exception to this rule is France, which has vacillated between proportional and majoritarian systems. In their classic work on electoral cleavages Lipset and Rokkan (1967) described the party system in Western Europe in the 1960s as "frozen" in the mould established at the turn of the century with the enfranchisement of the working class. In a similar way, until recently electoral systems in liberal democracies seemed set in concrete. The parties in government generally favored and maintained the status quo from which they benefited. The critical voices of those parties or out-groups systematically excluded from elected office rarely proved able to amend the rules of the game. This stability suggests that electoral systems are inherently conservative. Nevertheless institutions have the capacity to experience a radical breakdown following shocks to their external environment. In Krasner’s model of 'punctuated' equilibrium, institutions are characterized by long periods of stasis, which are…

The military will be coming home from whichever war to end violence and/or regroup our strategies. Military would be given any necessary equipment that they need; also they would be granted any support that they might need to get back on their feet in the United States. As for homeland security I will make it stronger and more alert that way no incident with a terrorist will be able to occur. Education will also be one of my priorities. I will make the education rise up from its current rank worldwide. I also want to lower the tuition of universities and colleges; we have to make the education cheaper to keep students educating themselves. Poor families cant afford the money for their children to go to school, poor families will be inspected as to why the are in their current economic situation and if they deserve the help they will be given the help.…
