Course Description
In Technical Writing with Microsoft Office 2010 and Visio, students will learn the fundamentals of
Office applications programs, using the Microsoft Office 2010 suite as the software platform.
The applications introduced in CNET104 include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Instruction is delivered entirely in a lab environment with 2 hour lecture/demonstration. Students will be required to complete technical writing assignments using the Microsoft Office 2010 software and VISIO 2007.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:
1. Differentiate the categories of software: Operating System (including communications software and user interface) and Applications Software
