GENERAL OPERATIONAL MODEL INTRODUCTION – BPPT

Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology, abbreviated BPPT , is a non-departmental government institution under the coordination of the Ministry of Research and Technology which has the task of carrying out government duties in the field of assessment and application of technology . Lastly, Head of BPPT is Marzan Aziz Iskandar , which replaces Prof. Ir. Djauharsjah Said Jenie, Sc.D. (d. 11 July 2008 ).

MAIN DUTIES
Carry out government duties in the field of assessment and application of technology in accordance with the legislation in force.

FUNTIONS
Assessment and formulation of national policies in the field of assessment and application of technology
Coordinate activities in the performance of duties BPPT.
Monitoring, guidance and services to government agencies and private sector activities in the field of assessment and application of technology in the context of innovation, diffusion, and capacity building, as well as fostering the transfer of technology.
To provide guidance and general administrative services in the field of general planning, administration, and management of the organization, personnel, financial, archival coding, equipment & household.

1. Spur engineering technology to enhance the competitiveness of industrial production.
2. Spur engineering technology to improve Public service agencies.
3. Spur engineering technology for the nation's independence.
