Selecting your Project Team
Some criteria that I would use to judge whether a person is "right" for the project team would be are they knowledgeable, honesty, and trustworthy. These to me are some of the main factors that I look for in a person. "The goal is to balance the competing demands of time and advantage. The pressures of time and money affect most major decisions, and decisions are usually more successful when they are made in a timely and efficient manner. For example, if your firm’s sales department recognizes a commercial opportunity it can exploit, you need to generate alternative projects quickly to capitalize on the prospect. Time wasted is generally opportunity lost. On the other hand, you need to be careful: You want to be sure that, at least as far as possible, you are making the best choice among your options. Thus organizational decision makers develop guidelines selection models that permit them to save time and money while maximizing the likelihood of success. (Pinto 2010). There are so many ways of selecting the criterea with dealing with project management. I believe that I would select someone with my similar characteristics.

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.(Matthew 7:1-5 NIV)

To have a team that works well and is effective you need to have strong individuals who will work well together, a mix of different people with different strengths would be a good choice, but all would need to have some basic team working skills these include the ability to support each other, have the same goals, communicate effectively, be reliable, enthusiastic and have consistency. Each individual team member should be completely clear on their own roles and responsibilities included in their job description and confident in their role within the setting, if a staff member is not confident or is unsure they should be fully able to approach the team leader/manager to voice their concerns at this point managers or leaders would be able to provide necessary training or support and supervision. A team will work more effectively if they have confidence and respect for their leader/manager, someone who is able to confidently deal with situations, provide support where necessary and be a good role model. By having people on your team who are strong and confident you will achieve the best outcome for your setting, when looking for employees you should consider their roles as team players by assessing skills such as communication, can they communicate effectively within the team. Activeness, are they likely to be an active part of the team and do an equal share. In today’s corrupt society, a lot of judgment is being made more and more apparent. Those who claim they are “Christians” do a lot of this. They judge others based on religion, race/appearance, culture, gender, sexual orientation, and even your choices. Before we continue, let me make this clear, not all people who judge are Christians, and not all Christians judge. For the ones who do, they have no right to place judgment upon others. It is not there job to do so, it is God’s job, hence “judgment day”. Allow me to further explain how exactly Christians can judge others.…
