Bringing you greetings from the island of the infamous Piton Mountains, Saint Lucia. I am 22 year old Cassandra Activille a Senior Economics major in the College of Business here at Grambling State University. Apart from having a cumulative 3.10 GPA I find time to also engage in many extra-curricular activities on campus such as the International Model Society, the Economics and Finance Club and Strut LA Modeling Troupe.
As graduation fast approaches, the next step in my career is to attend the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia to pursue my Masters in Finance. Upon completion of my masters degree my plans are to secure a job in the United States corporate business world as a Personal Financial Advisor using my knowledge of my Economics and Finance degrees, investments, tax laws and insurance to recommend suitable financial options that will help individuals/clients meet their short and long-term goals financially. My dreams however do not just stop there as I have a vision to one day manage my own Financial Advising firm in my home country of Saint Lucia therefore enabling me to give the opportunity to my fellow citizens jobs and proper standard of living.
Above everything else I believe and live my life with this personal quote that in life “Health, happiness and success depend upon the fighting spirit of each person. The big thing is not what happens to us in life – but what we do about what happens to us” - George
