Stages of Critical Thinking

Complete the matrix by identifying the six stages of critical thinking, describing how to move from each stage to the next, and listing obstacles you may face as you move to the next stage of critical thinking.

Advancing my deep thought skills
DO not let defensive way stand in the way of progress

Regularly and comfortably improve thinking skilss and use them effortlessly
Do not let deception or arrogance interfere with further progress

Write a 150- to 200-word explanation of your current stage of critical-thinking development and explain why you placed yourself at that stage. Format your paragraph consistent with Associate Level Writing Style Handbook guidelines.

I would have to say that I am an Unreflective thinker. I am totally new to critical thinking. I haven’t been previously introduced to the skill or anything. I have maintained my grades and I have always studied harder than the average but, I have always easily lost focus. I wasn’t even introduced to critical thinking in high school. I think if I had been previously introduced to critical thinking maybe I would be at a more advanced stage. I sometimes am easily distracted from thinking and lose my thoughts easily as well. This
