It is indeed a joyous occasion where we all have gathered to celebrate our 64th Republic day. The day on which the grand Indian Constitution came into being which is considered to be the real building block of our country and it had declared our country as a secular, democratic, republic nation and laid down the principles of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity for its citizens.
India’s progress over the past decades has been phenomenal. It has emerged as a dynamic and influential country on the global front after independence. India today is world’s largest democracy, fourth largest economy and a global leader in science and technology. India’s growing stature in information age enabled it to gain a brand identity. Launching of a no. of satellites and rockets marked the entity of India into space age. It has mastered modern space technology and its various applications for the benefit of society. Indian space scientists are capable of scaling new heights in the new millennium, even to fly up to the moon’s orbit.
But there is an equally convincing data to show that we have been lagging behind in many other areas. There are many critical issues which need to be resolved. We can look at our achievements with pride but at the same time, the substantial issues that our motherland is facing today, the challenges which are the bottleneck and hindrance to its progress , need to be addressed.
In the present scenario, a no. of social evils have penetrated into our society which have seemingly taken a toll and are corroding the structure of our nation. Every day we hear about heinous and horrific incidences happening around us which clearly reflect what kind of ethics have woven the fabric of our society. Standard of morality

Space exploration has always been fascinating, and it gives us hope of finding something new. According to the video “Space Race: 20th Century Timeline and Firsts,” “though the idea of space travel was discussed for hundreds of years, the field of rocketry got its first big boost in the early 20th century.” A century ago, space exploration was just a concept or a dream for mankind, but this idea had been accomplished by the developed of powerful rocket which overcome the force of gravity. In the beginning, on March 16, 1926 an American physicist, Robert A. Goddard, launched the first liquid fuel rocket in history. After World War II, the United States and the Soviet Union created their own missile programs. On October 4th 1957, the Soviets launched the first satellite into space. Later on, a national goal of “Landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to Earth within a decade” was set by President John F. Kennedy in 1961 (Space Race). On July 20, 1969, Astronaut Neil Armstrong was the first man walking onto the moon. The space exploration improved for the century, and now the advances of technology have pushed space travel to go further and discover other planets in solar system. However, in order to explore universe in details, many scientists have endeavored very hard to invent more new high technologies. Therefore, with its high technologies, space exploration has a lot of impacts on us today. For example, with the satellite system put up in the space, the weather forecast today has a high accuracy level, and this accuracy has helped in preventing many calamities. Besides the weather forecast, the satellite system also helps people to transmit the news or media all over the world almost instantly. Moreover, the researching space becomes a high paying jobs for many…

My keenness to be involved with aircraft took a definite shape in the form of my wanting to become an astronaut or be involved in Aerospace Engineering. Working in an organisation like NASA as an Aerospace Engineer became my ambition for life. Since then I have been enthusiastic about gaining all kinds of knowledge regarding aviation and aerospace engineering. I also visited ISRO, the Indian Space Research Organisation, the Indian equivalent of NASA, located in Sriharikota, a place in the southern part of India. Though there was a great deal of difference in the technology used in the space centres in the US and in India, I was able to learn a great deal about Chandarayan, the first successful mission constructed by an Indian as the project director MylswamyAnnadurai gave a detailed explanation about it.…

In reading this speech I see the points Frederick Douglass is pointing to. When Frederick Douglass read this speech in 1852 he reminds us of the birthday of America's independence which at the time was 76 years of freedom. Frederick Douglass is proud that our nation was still young saying that our nation is only in the beginning of carrer. He then reminds us of a time when America was still under the rule of Britain. The people of America were under the English government and England was their fatherland. America's home government did make limitations and restraints in which our fathers differed with. They thought that the limitations put on them were unjust and unreasonable. They protested against this in a respectful and loyal manner because of how England was treating the American Colonies. In form of a resolution they contemplated that their united colonies should become Independent States and that every political connection between them and Britain should be put away. Our fathers have succeeded with this resolution giving us the freedom we have today in America. This made the 4th of July an anniversary day we properly celebrate every year. Patriotism and Pride prompt us to celebrate this day in remembrance of the Declaration of Independence. Douglass's words say to stand by those principles made by the Declaration of Independence on all occasions and places at whatever cost. Douglass then states the case that he is not included in the blessings of American freedom. He also states that the justice, liberty, and independence received by our fathers are shared by the audience but not himself. He then says that the Fourth of July is theirs not his stating that while they rejoice he mourns. This then leads him to discuss the subject of American slavery. He then talks about slavery from a slave's point of view. He says that America has never looked darker than on this 4th of July. Whether discussing about the past or present this nation showed a class of evil…
