Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Life Long Learning

Legislation, regulatory requirements and codes of practise related to teaching in the lifelong learning sector

Promoting equality and valuing diversity.
Within the workshop it is very important to make sure that everyone is treated equally so everyone has an equal opportunity. Diversity means there should be no difference in gender, age, ethnicity, religion and faith, disability, social background, sexual orientation. People are people, no matter what their background mentioned above, and should be treated equally and fairly at all times so that they feel comfortable enough to be as equal to all others in the group and this will enhance their confidence. When the students see that all are treated equally by the tutor then they will follow that leadership and work together as equals.

Roles and Responsabilitys as a tutor.
Make sure that responsibilities fit within the role and it shouldn’t be too hard to sort out what the boundaries are.
