    Essay On Euphonium

Further technological advancements are inevitable in the years to come, but for the first time since it was created, we now have a euphonium close to perfection. Euphonium - Besson Prestige 2005 in 1891, a journalist from the Daily Telegraph suggested the sound of the euphonium was, "enough to make a Quaker kick his mother-in-law" and said that the instrument sounded like a "fog-horn". Yet in 2004, a journalist from the Times suggested that the euphonium was "as flexible and agile as the trumpet" capable of producing a "superbly focused glowing tone". The euphonium has obviously come a super long way and with continued dedication from the young euphonium players of today coupled with the continued development of repertoire, I believe the euphonium's future could be very bright. I would like to be a part of that. That is something I could do when I get older and more skilled at playing. My instrument has a very long and cool history. I hope you like it as much as I did. I hope to be a great baritone/euphonium player. In conclusion the baritone/euphonium is one of the first low-brass instruments. Just like the serpent and ophicleide, which are the older…

It has come to my attention that Liam, a young man of 23, had recently been diagnosed with severe liver damage. The disease had developed from 10 years of heavy drinking and as Liam was so young the disease was obviously more susceptible. After many advanced treatments being used on him, the only chance of saving Liam’s life was through a liver transplant, but sadly Liam was refused the transplant.…

High school has definitely changed me. Before I came to BrewTech I was all over the place. I didn’t have my own identity. If others were wearing this, I was wearing it too. I had no hobbies, just several inactive dreams. I was pretty bland, actually. When I came to BrewTech, however, things quickly changed. I got tired of being a follower as soon as I stepped foot into the building.…

When I joined band, the arts vigorously pushed my future onto a different course by molding a new creation that would be better prepared for the oncoming storms brought by the adversities of being a young adult. I learned discipline, timeliness, efficiency, and many other values that I would have otherwise lacked without the trials posed by being in band. Aside from these militaristic and objective qualities, being a musician also instilled many subjective qualities within me that allow me to better appreciate aesthetics. Thinking back, I was undoubtedly a terrible oboist when I first picked up the instrument. Beginner band was a cacophony rather than flowing music as it should have been. I didn’t understand what to listen for. Now with a more…

My current ability in music entrepreneurship is at the very beginning on a professional level, but my passion for music began at a very young age. Growing up, I was surrounded by music. There was always beautify music playing in the car, around the house, and through stereos at all of our family events. It was nonstop. I was hearing these vocals, these beautiful instruments, these magical melodies and I was almost immediately enticed. I started to learn the songs that played on the radio, and I mean every song. One of my earliest memories was singing "Love T.K.O." in the backseat of my Aunts car at 7 years old. She couldn't believe that I had even heard the song before, let alone would be about to sing the lyrics to the entire song. That trend continued on as I got…
