P1 Business Resources
Recruitment refers to the process of attracting, screening, selecting, and onboard a qualified person for a job. At the strategic level it may involve the development of an employer brand which includes an 'employee offering'.
I have chosen to go into retail in the future and work at JD Sports.
Application Form
An application form is a standardized form used to aid in the selection of hiring new employees. It may include everything from past jobs and positions, as well as education and any other pertinent information. Filling out an application form properly is important because it will indicate to your employer that you have the right skills and experience for the position you want. Hiring someone is a risk employers take and they try to reduce the risk of getting the wrong person by requesting some information about you. For example if the manager of JD Sports located in Woolwich, was looking for employees all he/she has to do is make an application form (on paper or online), and a job seeker can fill the form in, then hand it in and then the manager can decide who he/she wants to interview then possibly employ. This process also saves a lot of time in interviews because the interviewer already knows what he want to know about the employee from the application form.
JOB Description
A job description is a list of the duties that the jobholder is expected to perform. Some other items that are included in a job description are level and type of education required (such as A levels or just GCSE), experience required, physical exertion required (such as how many pounds a person would be expected to lift, how far a person would have to walk) other skills required (such as needing to have a clear speaking voice, good communicator or know the safety regulations of a certain state government.)A job description describes the major areas of an employee's job or position. A good job description begins with a careful analysis of the important facts about a job. This
