ABSTRACT

The purpose of the individual assignment is study the profile of a multi-national company which has various branches in different continents. Each continent has different social culture as well as style of economy management. To narrow down with examples on the study, a world-class cooperation has been selected to be the topic of discussion, Google Inc.

Company Profile : Google Inc.
Officially founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin (Refer to Figure 1) in the year 1998, Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) has launched itself to be an American multinational corporation which provides Internet-related products and services. This includes internet searches (also known as Google Search), cloud computing, software and advertising technologies. Major contributor on Google’s profits are due to advertising revenues from AdWords. Google began as a private company in 1998 and started initial public offering in year 2004. Google initially only has 3 employees in 1998 but soon expanded rapidly by 2008 to a total of 20123 employees around the world. The number one search engine company started off with no more than a simple PhD project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
