In addition to twice-a-week lectures, students meet once a week in a smaller lab section led by a teaching assistant. The purposes of the lab are to demonstrate how to use software to analyze data, to provide a smaller class setting for students to ask questions, and to reinforce topics from lecture.
A “lab cycle” begins on a Thursday and continues on Friday and the following Monday and Tuesday. The same material will be covered in each lab during a particular cycle. The first lab cycle will begin on Thursday , Sept. 4th.
