Because of this they are looking into a new found technology which is virtualization. Virtualization is not a new concept. It has been around since the main frame computer systems. What is virtualization? It is defined as “the creation of a virtual (rather than actual) version of something, such as an operating system, a server, a storage device or network resources” (Rouse, Virtualization, 2010). Virtualization falls into three main categories: Operating System, Storage, and Applications. Because of this virtualization can be applied to almost any part of an IT infrastructure. According to Rackspace after conducting a survey found that 57 percent of companies use virtualization with their internal infrastructures (Connor, 2007). Along with that Gartner.com states that “Virtualization will continue as the highest-impact issue challenging infrastructure and operations through 2015, changing how you manage, how and what you buy, how you deploy, how you plan and how you charge” (Press Release, 2010). During the P0 challenge everyone’s ideas for the project were heard. We did this through the normal brainstorming method. We all read the instructions, then everyone shared their ideas for how we should complete the prototype. We quickly started to realize that everyone had a similar vision on the basics of the car. However, we all had different ideas for the materials and how to assemble the car. In order for everyone’s ideas and opinions to be heard, we each took time explaining to the group what materials we wanted to use and why. This was an effective method, because no one in our group believed there idea was best. Everyone was willing to hear each other’s ideas and not force their own on the group. After everyone spoke, we all took time…

This article dealt with the aspects of the new and rising epidemic to which is referred as “bath salts”, or methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV). The author shows an example of the effects of the drug by using set person, Mr. S, to show what happens to the average bath salt user. Mr. S is a fifty year old man who has had a prior substance abuse to methamphetamines and a history of violence resulting in incarcerations. After extensive tests, however; Mr. S did come up negative for HIV, gonorrhea, hepatitis, and chlamydia which would make one believe there is no necessary connection between disease and synthetic drug use/abuse. Mr. S’ case with synthetic drug abuse did, however; show a dependency for the substance. The case report tells how each of the three times Mr. S was discharged from his psychiatric holds/evaluations that he would relapse and continue the use of the drug. The discussion after the case study tells how there are three ways to partake in the use of these bath salts (inhalation, injection, and ingestion). At the end of the discussion it repeats how the substance is legal and how there is still many things unknown about it.…

When the dollar value of goods and services imported into the United States exceeds the dollar value of goods and services exported to other countries from the U.S., it creates what is called a surplus. When there is a surplus of imports that are brought into the United States, a deficit is created from the trade balance that occurs. Having a surplus of desired imports can create a lower price for the U.S. consumer and have a positive effect on the employment rate within the country where the goods were imported from. This has an effect due to the fact it will keep their citizens working.…

    1. The state of Florida is amongst 16 other states that selects judges through the method “appointment-retention election”. A method in which a proposing group shows names to the governor, who then makes the appointment; appointees need to win a retention vote in the next election. It is not necessarily a good system because the selection is placed in the hands of the judges or attorneys who comprise the nominating committee and the governor, with only a impression of voter input. Reorganizers argue that the plan eliminate judges from politics and saves the electorate the problem of voting on judicial candidates when they know little about their professional qualifications.…
