As a current third year Mathematical, Statistical and Actuarial student at Heriot-Watt University, it is with great enthusiasm that I am writing to apply for a summer internship with RBS. I thrive in a team environment, and have gained much experience of this through my part time job, and various group projects at university. I have a real motivation to pursue a career in finance, and believe that this firm could give an ambitious Math student like me the opportunity to develop in areas which I have a real flair for.
