Construction Technology Abstract
Abstract We have to complete an assignment for our Construction Technology about green building. Our lecturer, IR Han had also held an visit programme to one of the green building that located at Putrajaya which is Diamond Building to help us in obtaining more information for this assignment. Our assignment had inserted these information that we obtained from the visit to Diamond Building and also some other green buildings around the world. In the introduction part we can see that green buildings had been constructed in numerable number all around the world and all of those buildings are built based on the same concept which is reduce any possible pollution and energy saving towards the environment. We had also conducted a case study about the Diamond Building that we had visited. Through this part we have a clearly image and data of Diamond Building such as its construction period and years taken, developer and architectures that involved, their assessment criteria what kind of award they have received. In this case study part it also contained the Diamond Building's features. In the 3rd part, we discussed about the concept, design and system of the Diamond Building. At this part the efficiency of Diamond Building in the aspect of energy and resources are compared to the common building design through its advanced technologies system. Relevant photos are attached to have a better image of the Diamond Building. Before conclusion we did a survey about the impact of green building towards the environment and economy too. We inserted tabulate data to show how much is the effect of green building to the environmental and economical that suggested us in the future all construction should undergo based on green concept. In the conclusion part, our assignment group had agreed with a same idea about green building and few opinions and ideas are been written as
