2012 PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE CLOSING STATEMENT - MITT ROMNEY
Thank you very much. It has been a great debate. I would like to thank everyone: President Obama, our host and American people watching the debate and who are deeply concerned about the future of our country. We are in a great economical crises, people looking for jobs but can not find any, our debts piled up, budget deficit widening every day. There is still a lot of work to be done. 4 years ago, people of this great country elected Mr. Obama to provide a better future for all and Obama administration had its chance to change it and make things right for the last 4 years in the office. However, many of the issues remain unsolved yet even got worse.
America is the greatest country on the face of the earth. We have been the country that all others have been looking up to. For the last couple of years, this image has been in decline and we want to bring those glorious days back! We have a great democracy, human rights and freedom. A freedom that would allow entrepreneurs to start businesses that would create many job opportunities for the people, instead of discouraging them with higher taxes and expenses caused by the practices of Obama administration . We should encourage investment that is the backbone of economic improvement and full-employment that will provide an overall prosperity for all the people. Apparently increasing the government expenditures sponsored by the higher taxes paid by my fellow Americans is not helping. We should first create jobs which will increase government revenue and then gradually should provide for the less fortunate, without jeopardizing the welfare of the middle class that USA strictly depends on.
I think we don't have much time left and I would like to make couple of misperceptions clear that Mr Obama has been trying to create about me. I care about the 100% of American people. Because we all are one, despite the differences we have- which creates this great...
