Benefits of Being Physically Active
-Physical Fitness: the ability of the body to carry out daily physical activities without getting out of breath, sore, or overly tired.
-A certain amount of physical activity has been shown to keep you healthy and lower your risk of certain diseases.
-Exercise is an excellent way to keeping a high level of activity in your daily life.
-Exercise is any physical activity that improves or maintains physical fitness.
-Exercise can be set of formal activities or can be informal play.
-Stay Active, Stay Alive -Sedentary lifestyle has been linked to increased risk of developing many illnesses, such as chronic disease. -Chronic disease is a disease that develops gradually and persist over a long period of time.

Physical Benefits
-Heart and lungs get stronger, allowing more blood and oxygen to circulate in the body.
-Blood cholesterol levels are kept within a healthy range, and blood vessels are kept strong and healthy.
-Building muscular strength and endurance and also flexibility of our joints makes our muscles more efficient at controlling our movements and protects against injuries.
Mental Benefits
-Regular exercise has positive effects on feelings of depression and anxiety.
-Exercise helps reduce stress and helps us sleep better.
-Exercise releases chemicals called endorphins.
-Endorphins give you a feeling of wellness and happiness.
Social Benefits
-Many people feel increased self-esteem as they exercise.
-This feeling is a result of positive body changes that occur because of exercise.
-Increased self-esteem lead people to socialize with others more.

-Health-related fitness describes qualities that are needed to maintain and promote a healthy body.
1. Muscular Strength: amount of force that a muscle can apply in a given contraction. -Examples: Lifting a weight Pushing a large piece of furniture
