Following that, they all seen a shadow passing Jem, and then Jem put his arms over his head. Dill put his hands over his eyes as the shadow passed over Jem. They all ran out of the yard. Nathan Radley shot at him. Then the neighbors gathered in a circle. After Jem said, “We better go down there. They’ll think it’s funny if we don’t show up.” Ms. Stephanie ask them where were they. She also blamed Jem for being in Radley’s garden. Dill said they weren’t, he said they were playing strip poker and that he won his pants for winning. Then Jem told Atticus they were really playing matches.
