The movie Of Mice And Men by John Steinbeck starts with a woman running guys on horses with ravenous dogs that we can only guess are the main characters. If you read the book, then watch the movie you know all the things that happened. Though There are some features in the movie that are different than the book. Therefore some parts of the book were left out of the movie. The story of the movie can be hard to follow if you don’t pay attention to what is happening and what things symbolizes or have a higher meaning than what it shows. An example would be when a pigeon flew away when Lennie killed Curley's Wife representing the dream flying away. Similarly, when Lennie was talking with crooks the darkness around represented the lowliness

Likewise, based on what Lennie acts likes I can tell that he is a bonehead. Similarly for Curly's wife a feel more sympathetic for her because since they took out her flirts, she kept saying in the book and put a regular girl trying to go about her day to day life. So when She got killed I actually felt sorry for her. I liked the cinematography of the film they knew when to zoom in and zoom out.example would be when they zoomed on Lennie squeezing the blood out of curly’s hand. Moreover when they zoom out when George shot Lennie. In all honesty, I can’t remember all the parts when the did cinematography work, but there was one shot of the town and the camera zoom out on them, then zoomed back in, in order for us to see the town and time period. Of Mice and Man is a great movie with surprise twists. Even though they took out scenes from the book the put their own scene in order to make a good movie while sticking with the book. The way they hook the person to watch the movie by adding a thrilling chase scene and we don’t know what’s happening so we want to keep watching to see why they are being chased and hiding. I personally would give this movie 5 stars because it is one of the best movies from a book I have
