My Living Room Analysis
How to decorate your living room with these inspiring ideas.
Isn’t a special feeling to decorate your own pad? If yes, then that is me, I would not take any other living room other than my own, which houses all my collections of travel, textiles, and art. There’s something for everyone, no matter the style, it is the right opportunity to reflect your personality. This room is not only a comfy and relaxing space, it is similarly a versatile place that families gather to unwind and rejuvenate after a hard day as well friends reminisce after months apart. For instance, It should strike an example of masculinity meeting femininity to definitely ground the space. However, it can be daunting to design a room entirely from scratch. If you’re stuck

And to polish it all, nature knows better a portable palette that echoed a tasteful elegance and class stirred to give this room a vegetal character creating modern greenery along with the vibrant artwork that referenced the locale.
The wall decor
The walls are my favorite, they create a sense of height and force the eyes to tour around the room. For an optimum background effect, select soft tones of sapphire blue, jade green and off-white which make your room look brighter and bigger while vibrant colors like ruby-red, yellow, coral orange fashionably fuse to anchor the space with exceptional environs. Moreover, the walls are not only limited to paint! There are murals, stencilling, wallpapers and fabrics all come down to personal preference.
For me, I repeatedly tweak and adjust my style. The glossy turquoise shade surfaces, self-adhesive wall murals from my chosen elements lining one wall, the over mantle mirror which has become my statement piece together with a soft furnishing accessorize the scheme together. I find it very motivating, yet contented and quirky. It’s an affordable and outrageous wall decor easy to change when you fancy an

I can assure you neither of us (Adam and Jeremy) condone or participate in the use of hateful and discriminatory language. While the hallway is a common area, the whiteboard I chose to place on the exterior of our door is private property, the desecration of that property infringes on my rights as a resident of Hutch. I commend the Hutch hall team for using their discretion in order to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all residents, but Adam and I are not guilty of harming that environment, that guilt should be placed on the shoulders of the nameless vandal. We are committed to using the whiteboard for respectful communication only, and will more closely monitor the content which it displays. Unfortunately, Adam and I are busy…

The uttermost unifying piece of this artwork is the color. The use of atmospheric perspective relies on the color palette. It heightens the ephemeral quality of light and nature because it is constantly changing. The blues and purples are subtle and encompass the majority of the canvas. The blues are minutely changed and layered against one another. Dow’s color palette is made up of only complimentary colors that strengthen the contrast and reinforce the inspiring nature of light and form. Greens and reds are prominent in the foreground and appear grid like giving each level of rock…

This morning I got my tea and drove down to Moody Nolan, yet again. As I went up the elevator, I was greeted by Lisa Merket, an interior designer, telling me that I had the opportunity to shadow her. While I was in interior design department, I learned about distinct fabrics and materials. I walked to the fabric library, a collection of supplies, and helped a woman named Eva pick out a design for her countertop. We both agreed to do a matte granite, considering the fact her kitchen is contemporary. Lisa then taught me how to use photoshop. The dublin Marriott hotel asked Moody Nolan to decorate the exterior and interior of the building. With that, Lisa gave me a blank outline and I got to change the outdated textures and furniture. Satisfied…

As a registered nurse, I have been tasked with providing care to patients suffering from various medical conditions, but now I am ready to provide a different type of care in the form of beauty and art. Despite finding my current profession immensely gratifying, I always knew my true passion was in interior designing and decorating; hence why I have made the ambitious decision to go back to school for a new career in interior design. I have always enjoyed working with colors, patterns, and personalizing my home with DIY projects, such as remodeling a storage room into a guest bedroom and tearing down a wall to create a larger living room. I find myself constantly glued to home improvement shows and going through home magazines to find new ways of decorating,…

I have 3 short silver wires and each holds 4 bright pictures; below those, I have a wood frame that has a picture of me and my childhood friends; and my last picture on that wall is my "Alice Down the Rabbit Hole", it is another and different interpretation of the story. Now on to my right wall, this wall is a little different than the rest. My twin sized bed is on the floor right up against the wall, but the wall itself slants inward, right over my bed. My blanket on my bed is an orange quilt that has an old purple floral design on it. It has a retro look. At the foot of my bed, is a short, white foot dresser that my great-grandfather built my mother. On that is where my black Dell computer and my white Google Chrome charge (those lay side by side), next to those is where I keep my large and colorful Biology binder. On top of that stands my Pocket People that I got when I traveled to New…

The color schemes for both design styles are complete opposites. In the modern design the color scheme is futuristic colors, such as silvers, bronzes, coppers and blues. It is also very common in the modern design style to have a plain white wall so that the focus is only on the items in the room not on the wall color. With the white walls the color should come in on the fabrics, furniture and accessories. In the classical design style the color scheme takes its cues from nature with such colors as yellows, blues, greens, browns and softer muted tones such as terracotta’s, grays and pinks. Faux finishes are very common in classical design. The most popular faux finishes are a large tone on tone stripe or stenciling on the wall. In the classical design style color is everywhere in the room. However, it usually works best if the large pieces of furniture, such as the sofa, are a neutral color and the punches of color come into play with the smaller items, such as the pillows for sofa, rug, chairs and draperies.…
