My Favorite Chinese Food China is famous for its food. Chinese food is the ultimate food. Especially in South China, they would say they eat all four legs except table legs, and all two wings except the aircraft wings. Some Chinese food may be really unbelievable, but most of these dishes are delicious. Compared with the western style of food, there are more kinds of food in China. According to statistics, there were more than 1000 kinds of dishes in China. My favorite Chinese foods are the Beijing Duck, dumplings, and noodles. As I said, one of my favorite foods is Beijing Ducks. Beijing Duck is a sign of Beijing, is a kind of roast duck, is made of Ganoderma lucidum and Ceriops tagal form, taste very delicious. Ever since I was a kid I have loved to eat Beijing Ducks. Whenever my parents would make food that I didn’t like, I would buy a Beijing Ducks and ate it. I have eaten Beijing Ducks so much that all of my family knows how much I love it and it has even become a story that my family tells constantly. The story is about when I was much younger. I think I was 9 or 10 years old. I was very picky (and I still am) because I would only eat Beijing Ducks. My mother tried to trick me by cooking non-Beijing Ducks with a Beijing Ducks box sitting out to try to prove a point that it all tastes the same and that I couldn’t really tell the difference. Much to her chagrin, I spat out the very first bite that I took and said “This is not Beijing Ducks!” The second my favorite foods is dumplings. Chinese people also called it ”jiaozi” , with meat and vegetable fillings, is very popular during the Spring Festival and other festivals. In many years ago, dumplings are only the food which can eat on New Year’s Day. Just like the Thanksgiving Day’s turkey, every family will stay together and in their dinner.
