Mr. Carroll, his wife, Leigh Ann and their grandchildren, Gauge Higdon (age 3), and Axel Higdon (age 2) reside in the home. They have lived at this residence for about 5 years. There are no other household members.

3 bathrooms, kitchen/eating area, living room, den, a laundry area and a 2 car garage. Mr. & Mrs. Carroll sleep in the master bathroom. The Higdon children occupy the 4th bedroom. The home is fully furnished. There are no noticeable safety hazards in the home and it appears to be a suitable environment for the above referenced children.

Ms. Penny Dueitt, sister of Ms. Carroll, stated that the Carroll’s are a great family for the children to reside with. She said her sister is very caring and helps to ensure the children and close family members are healthy and safe. She also said that the Carrols has plenty of family support to help them with the children’s upbringing. According to Ms. Dueitt, Mr. Carroll is the biggest supporter. He’s in it 100%, he helps with the boy when he gets off from work. He takes the boys for a ride in his gulf cart to the lake, makes dinner and gives them baths.
Ms. Michelle Wheeler, Nanny of the Higdon children, stated that Mrs. Carroll sacrifices and wakes up before and stays up late after work to make sure that she spends quality time with the boys. She takes pleasure in reading books and watching movies with her grandson along with making sure they get to their appointments. She said that Mr. Carroll works long hours, however; he makes time to connect with
