Career Manifesto
A manifesto is a verbal declaration that consists of the motives and intentions of a person or a group. It often presents an individual's life stance. Manifestos are potent catalyst. By stating my intentions and views, I establish a pact for taking action. In order to succeed in my business career, a manifesto will be an incentive to success. The paper will focus on my manifesto that is aimed to ensure that I succeed in my business endeavors. Always be a salesperson. The aim of selling is making profits. I should never underestimate the significance of having the ability to sell. It should always be at the top of purpose list. I have to sell my ideas to investors and sell the vision of the company to prospective employees and customers. I should never have an aversion to marketing since it is unequivocally critical to my success. Get organized. To attain success in my career, I have to be well organized. An organized schedule will assist in completing tasks and remain on top of things to be done. The unsurpassed way to achieve this is creating a to-do list for each day. Having such a list will ensure that nothing is forgotten, and all essential tasks to the survival of the business are completed. Treat clients with respect and dignity. In order to achieve success in business, customers ought to be treated with utmost respect and dignity. Giving ethical treatment to them will foresee the thriving of the commerce since they will regularly transact where they are valued. Lack of dignity to clients will diverge them from the enterprise as they will seek alternative places where they are deemed treasured. Provision of a great customer service will make them more inclined to make a comeback to my business rather than my competitors. Don’t settle for anything apart from excellence in the business ventures. Excellence in business endeavors is the ultimate target of each entrepreneur. To achieve excellence, I have to be determined and work hard. I have to try and do all things by myself but seek assistance should a challenge arise. I believe I have to own and control my business as well as participate only in markets where I can make a substantial contribution. Learn from mistakes and have a backup plan. I should always learn from my past mistakes. Although an error is at many times perceived as a failure, it is a gift. This is because I will learn lessons and take measures to avoid reoccurrence of such. I should also have a backup plan, just in case one plan fails. This will ensure continuous growth of my business. Proper time management. As an entrepreneur, I ought to be driven by the belief that time is money. The business will operate at particular times so as, not to inconvenience the clients. Any time lost will have to be made up for. This will ensure that transactions will often run smoothly without the interference of other activities during the stipulated business time. Take risks. Taking risks is the crucial to the success in any activity. Without undertaking risks, no business would exist as it enhances its growth. I have to know the downside of an individual investment since such knowledge will allow taking of all kinds of calculated risks. This will in turn generate remarkable rewards for my business. Be creative. In order to ensure that the business thrives, creativity is required. I have to look constantly for techniques to expand the company and ensure that it stands out amid competition. I have to assume that I don’t know everything hence the need to be open to new ideas and approaches to the business. Be always disciplined. Discipline does not involve working hard only, but also managing my entrepreneurial tendencies. Having the right discipline will safeguard the interests of the business as well as promote its long-term growth. Maintain focus. The business has to be given optimal concentration especially during challenging periods. Opening a business does not necessarily mean that I will start making money immediately. It takes time for people to have an idea concerning the existence of the enterprise, hence the need to stay focused on achieving goals. Keep detailed records. To bring success to my business, I have to keep accurate records of all transactions. By so doing, I will know the financial status of the company and the potential challenges that I could face. By understanding this, I will have time to create essential strategies to overcome the hurdles that can prevent the growth and success of the business. Be consistent. Consistency is a key component to generating profits in a business. I have to run the necessary trades consistently in order to be successful in both the short term and the long term. This will establish long-term optimistic habits that will help generate money for the future. In conclusion, starting and operating a successful business can be challenging and rewarding. To achieve success in my business career, discipline, focus and perseverance is a necessity. Nevertheless, success does not come overnight. It necessitates a long term focus and consistency in this challenging environment.

    The Communist Manifesto

The Industrial Revolution caused a division between the social classes across America. Bourgeoisie were profiting and rising above society while the Proletarians were going through a recession and being put into poverty. In 1847, two radical thinkers from Germany wrote a 23-page pamphlet called The Communist Manifesto attacking the communist system for placing this type of inequality upon them. The Communist Manifesto, created and written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, is the document most responsible for launching the often-feared political philosophy of communism. The Manifesto was a brief publication declaring the arguments and platform of the communist party and was commissioned by the Communist League based out of England. Karl Marx…

    The Communist Manifesto

In the reading, the communist manifesto, Marx talks about ten main points on how to turn our society into a communist society. The first point that Marx makes I do not agree with. I think that his first point means that the government can come in and take someone’s land that they own. I don’t think that anyone should be able to just randomly decide that they get to take your property away from you. I do not agree with the second point he makes either. People who are not as wealthy as others already struggle to afford things that their family needs. If the taxes heavily increase it will make it that much harder on families who already struggle. Increasing taxes not only affects the people who are considered poor but it also affects everyone else as well. The third point that Marx states I also do not agree with. If you are supposed to receive something from inheritance then you should get it. When someone passes away and leaves particular things to someone their wishes should be honored. I both agree and disagree with the fourth point that he makes. If emigrants or rebels own land and they are doing illegal things on it or with it then I believe that the land should be able to be taken away. If they are using it for good purposes like to build shelter or grow food then I believe they should be able to keep it. Marx’s fifth point I don’t believe that it would be a good idea. With a single person running a big corporation like that could make any decision they want, which can be bad. When there is a group of people who own a corporation they have to take a vote on big decisions. I believe that Marx’s sixth point can be good and bad. The state paying for transportation can be a good thing, but what happens when they run out of money? I don’t think the state could afford to pay for so many people flying on planes, or any form of transportation like that. The seventh point Marx…

The Communist Manifesto was written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, as a presentation of what they believed to be an ideal Communist social and economic revolution. According to the authors, in order to avoid social oppression, every individual should be at the same level. Although Karl Marx’s and Friedrich Engels’ equal social standards beliefs could have prevented oppression of wealthier people over less wealthy ones back in time, today it could lead to an abolition of elements such as economical advantage and leading powers, because there would be no distinction of citizens based on capabilities and no opportunity for anybody to be superior to someone else.…
