My name is bob riley, my hometown is Johnsonville, South Carolina. Johnsonville is a very small town and not much people live there. My Great grandmother who is alive today is from Johnsonville and she has lived there her whole life. Both of my parents grew up in this small town and attended Johnsonville High School.
Being that Johnsonville is small I feel there is least expected of people. Most people at the end of high school went and work with their parents or got a job at a plant factory . You had some who went to college or moved out of town, but most went into the workforce. My hometown has impacted me a lot. It has made me want to do better than just go straight into the workforce. I plan to go to college to become a pediatric dentist. My hometown as help me want to strive for excellence. I have a very strong determined drive to make something of myself, I will not settle for less. I am always on the A/B honor roll because I know its important that I keep my grades up. I am also in clubs and organizations at my school such as the Beta Club. I always give my all and my best at anything I do, because I feel that you are cheating yourself if you are not. Johnsonville, SC has taught me how to make good choices in my life. With guidance from my family and friends the choices I have made has benefited me for the better. My hometown has also shape me to be respectful to others. I am glad that I have support from my family and friends. There are a lot of older people in the town and you have to say no sir and yes sir. The people in Johnsonville taught me how to use a form of respect towards others.
