Huck finn's character has changed throughout the book in major ways. From the beginning Huck Finn has always been an outcast and is the son of the town drunk , he allows his friends to influence him and he never realized that slaves deserve to be treated like humans. Over time Huck Finn learns valuable lessons and his character changes. Well make a band of robbers can call it Tom Sawyer's gang(17). In the beginning Huck Finn was a very mischievous boy, but he didn't know any better because he'd grown up thinking that his actions were okay because he'd had a father who was the worst character in the book. The band of robbers shows how Huck Finn's character was in the beginning. We dropped the things we stole(71). In the beginning Huck believes…
I feel that the character that changed the most throughout the story was Tally Youngblood. At the beginning of the book Tally thought the only important thing in her life was becoming pretty. On the night before her birthday Shay, her friend shares a secret with her, she doesn’t want to turn pretty, she wants to run away to a town called the Smoke. Tally is confused and upset with her friend and tells Shay that she cannot run away she has always wanted to turn pretty. On the day of her birthday Tally is told by Special Circumstances, a special group in New Pretty Town, she cannot turn pretty unless she finds where Shay ran away and turn her in. Tally agrees and is sent back to her town with a backpack full of supplies for her trip to find…

This year we read Tom Sawyer by Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain). Throughout the book Tom has grown through maturity and just as a person. I have also grown a lot over the past year. I have grown as an athlete, a reader and writer, and also as an overall student.…
One character that has changed from the beginning of the story until now (i.e. Chapter 4-6) is Johnny. He went from being an innocent puppy that was scared to a younger version of Darry, being tough, cool, and knowing what to do in certain situations. He went from getting beaten up badly by his father, and Bob (once) to killing Bob, and running away from the Police. What caused Johnny to change was that Ponyboy was being drowned by David (a Soc) and Bob was going to kill Johnny after Ponyboy was dead, so Johnny reacted quickly and stabbed Bob and scared away the other Socs. Johnny stated that he never wanted to get beaten up like he did in that lot when Bob almost killed him, so he took action. In the text, it says “If you can picture a little puppy that has been kicked too many times and is lost in a crowd of strangers, you’ll have Johnny.” (Hinton Page 11) This was when Johnny was still scared of Bob and was depressed to the point of mentioning killing himself if he didn’t see any action (which kept him sane). This was when Johnny was protected by older Greasers (Dally, Two-Bit, and even Darry), although Darry wasn’t a Greaser he seems to care about Johnny, this was when anyone could push him around when he was quiet and kept to himself. Later on, in the text, it said: “But Johnny, except for the fact that his hands were twitching, looked as cool as Darry ever had.” (Hinton Page 57) This shows how quickly he changed because earlier that night when in the movie theater he was still shy when first talking to Cherry, but after this, he was a totally different person. It’s like there is a totally different side of him which…
During the book Finn undergoes an HUGE change. His character arc is well thought out and it's interesting seeing him evolve into someone different and undergo a change. I love dynamic characters in books and Finn delivers on that front. He becomes more engaged in the world around him, starts to speak with people, understands that he is not alone and that there are people whom he can talk to. He even takes the first steps to talking with a girl he has secretly been admiring. It's also interesting to see how his viewe of the world changes by the end of the book as he becomes more grounded and recives an vider perspective of the world. But despite all of that he still keeps thinking about the young girl that went missing and has an urge to find…

This play was very confusing to me; it took me a while to understand it. I read it twice from beginning to end. In the reading, I noticed how Huckleberry Finns’ personality changed, and did a total 360. Even I was confused, I didn’t think he had it in him. However, I will express in the paper when and why Huckleberry decided to make this change.…

cannot change anything” -George Bernard Shaw. In the popular novel by Mark Twain, known as The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, there are many dynamic characters that correspond to the quote by Shaw. A dynamic character is a person or thing that undergoes an internal change. Tom Sawyer, the protagonist of Mark Twain’s book, is a good example of a dynamic character. At the beginning of the book, he is introduced as a mischievous young man at age 12, living in a small town in Missouri, who tricks people into doing his responsibilities in return for goods.
