Majority of these boundaries are set by parents and by the society that the children are living in. When babies are born they have no boundaries on ethics or anything really for that matter, nothing seems to matter to babies or children of such a young age. Children do not often know any differences between the ages, races, or the different disabilities that different children possess; that is, unless they are taught differently. Children are often compared to sponges because of all the information that they seem to absorb when parents and family members are conversing between themselves. For example, Snot’s troop mates appear to have a hostile mentality toward Caucasian people. That everything that was funny and “uppidy” like high-watered jeans was somehow related to Caucasians. This type of boundary between African Americans and Caucasians do not start with these children, but with the parents at home or anyone that as segregated beliefs. This mindset usually comes from an experience that was endured by someone from either side. Experiences help mold a person in a real life
