My name is Monet Turner; I was born on October 12, 1996. Since that day I became a very active person. I play soccer for Indy burn soccer club and also for our high school. I play on the high school varsity team and the all star team for my club. School is the most important thing to me I go to school to get my education not to play around . Taking all my classes serious because I have a bright future ahead of me. I have learn and reviewed a lot since August. Mr.Perika has taught me how to correctly identify and use my grammar. He review with my what my nouns ,pronouns , adjective, adverbs and verbs are and how to use them . I also reviewed and learned parts of the story which helps me now when I read books to know which is the exposition, rising action , climax , falling action ,and the resolution . What I like about the English language is where it originated for which is the Germanic tribes who invaded Britain during the 5th century AD. From the 16th century the British had contact with many peoples from around the world and the English language traveled all around the world. Since the 5th century new words ,phrases , and forms of writing have developed. Facts that I have learned in English class : 1. there are five parts of a story ( exposition , rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.) 2. subject tells whom or what the sentence is about. 3. predicate says something about the subject . 4. setting is a time and place where the action takes place . 5. static character is a character that changes during the story . 6. protagonist main or central character of whom the conflict resolves around. 7. antagonist is the character that opposes the protagonist . 8. round character has many different personalities . 9. flat character has one personalities . 10. dynamic character
