Essay About My Weakness In Writing
I suppose my most crucial weakness in writing is that I have trouble writing non-fiction. many times I feel can’t be as creative in nonfiction as a result of everything has to be real. Another weakness I struggle with is restrictions in my writing creativity, repeating words, and following up on abrupt endings to chapters.
When I write I write for myself, I prefer not to writing for other people. In my opinion, writing for other people isn’t writing assignments or schoolwork; I write those for myself in the long run. I reckon the strengths in my writing stem mainly from my creativity, I don’t feel the greatest at writing a “set in stone” assignment. I will see to it I correct this though, and I feel as that with every piece of writing I correct it immensely.
Another weakness I have is I find myself stuck after a cliffhanger or when something important happens, I do not truly know how I need to write the next “chapter”. I know how I wish it to sound, but it is almost as if I cannot follow up on the critical events in my writing owing to the fact I feel that was too unreachable? I certainly struggle with this one and I have an abundant amount of stories collecting dust due to something epic happening and not being able to put words to paper on how to follow the event.
However I feel my most impacting strength in writing is just being able to let the writing use me as a filter, I try not to consider too heavily about what I have been writing and I just let my writing flow. I highly enjoy this when I have the time to utilize it, I love to just sit down and write for forty-five minutes straight without having to anticipate what I write. I usually come back to these pieces of writing the next day and edit them. These long bursts are usually for my fantasy story which I post on my
